I’m 19 and I have some really meaningful large pieces and some really terrible spontaneous small ones🤣 I love all of them equally. I figure even if I regret it at some point in my life I wanted it there for a reason!

only tattoos i got were during 10 years living in brazil with an indigenous tribe in the middle of the rainforest, and signifies the moment the tribe officially recognised me as a true member of there tribe, more specifically they are geometric markings that signify i am a shaman, since i went there to learn about indigenous medicines, and the bit that really makes my life worth it was when the Brazilian government sent me a letter confirming my status as a protected indigenous person, apparently the tattoos were only ever given to tribe members so the tattoos acted as ID edit: on a few trips to the tribe i got other tattoos, one time i took part in a hunt and earned hunter gatherer tattoos on my cheeks and chin, got leg tattoos which were considered me passing from a simple medicine man to a spiritual shaman (they apparently represent that i am one with the world around me), people have asked about my face tattoos and if i "regret getting them" and the answer is "these tattoos are a hard earned sign of respect that i will always show with pride"

I get why someone would do this but honestly I think if you're on the fence you should wait. Because even though I don't like my tattoos now I don't regret them because I was sure about them when I got them. Putting something on me temporarily wouldn't have helped me decide especially since I didn't start disliking them until more than 5 years after getting them

I have a couple of Lillie's on my shoulder, but I now want them black n gray because the color has faded so much. Would u think it'd cost more? Also, is it considered a 'cover up'?

I did what I had to do to get through nursing school. it was hard, but I had a dream and got it done. To get into a Luxury service area and have 0 plan is bad, as there will be times business is slow and as a working artist you will have to figure how you will keep the rent paid. When I was temporarily furloughed from a nursing home, I went and got another job doing PRN work to keep my bills paid. Work before, save ya coins. It wont be easy if its good.

Tattoos look trashy regardless. Enough with the tattoos. You don’t look “unique”. Too many people have them now. Especially women 🤢 🤮 I want a feminine looking woman, not someone who looks like a sailor.

I have zero tattoos for this exact reason. Too scared I would wake up, look in the mirror and HATE what I did. Or wish it was gone. Total regret. If I do anything it will be for Jesus. ❤

I lasered my brows off in my 20s. It was incredibly stupid and very painful. Luckily, they grew back for the most part. Anyway, the laser machine goes from 1-100. It was set at 24 for my hair removal. Not sure how high it would be to remove a tattoo, but I doubt I could sit through the pain. Glad I only have 2 tattoos and I'll always love them.

I can see where it could be applied to other things other than inking your body with pretty pictures. What if they used in medical field any time you have a life threatening condition they could ink a code or something with a simple print fuction on a tattoo machine at the hospital. Severe peanut allergy or pace maker or whatever. Could develop inks that are easily removable say you start a job at a company you get a small barcode in your wrist to scan in and they take it off when you leave or the ink disolves and they must redo the the tattoo every so often. Im not afraid of technology or advancements. Just like how microwaves havent replaced the art of cooking even though it can cook faster. Theres still people cooking over fire and smoking things man. Cost of machine probably prohibits this bejng common place at least for a few years.

If youre unsure dont get it. Seems kinda obvious that if you're gonna get permanent ink youd be 100% on it. Never once was unsure before any of my tats

You are wrong. It's a great technique, definitely not like the real thing but i tried a sticker tattoo and henna tattoo ans realized i really got tired lf the pattern i chose. Better have something cheesy for a week rather than some thing you don't like on your skin

If I liked it in the moment it’s a memory then 🤷🏽‍♂️. And if I don’t like it later, oh well there’s parts of me I didn’t like in the mirror before my tattoos. At least it’s a conversation piece lmao. No hate if u remove or think a while on them. Do you. I just dont see tattoos I don’t like anymore as any different than a scar. Part of me now oh well

It's so cheesy and i love it. Why not have temp tattoos like that for events or holidays? No harm. But the video is dumb and misleading. Stickers are not needles.

This is for anyone who doesn’t know this information but I used to work at a medical spa and I remember my doctor (who herself had both arms covered in sleeves) would tell patients that the reason why it’s a 50/50 chance with tattoo removal to be successful is because of a few reasons. One The ink the tattoo artists used on you. What most people don’t understand is not all Ink is created equal and of quality. Also as you have shown in your videos explaining needle penetration and its depth techniques etc.. One small part can be at a different layer of skin to the next. It’s quite inconsistent typically because of depth of color you are going for and look. Id always have to use this analogy on our patients to help them understand. It’s like taking a notebook and spilling ink over that notebook paper, what would happen if you keep ripping that paper away? You would see it would take quite a long time before seeing a fresh piece of paper, now some parts of that paper will clear up faster than the other parts that have ink still on it, but it will take a long time depending on how much absorb into that paper. That’s exactly what the skin does. it absorbs, so even if your tattoo artist is taking it down to a certain level of the skin, that skin itself is absorbing it even deeper then the tattoo artist had placed the ink at in the first place. And at different depths of the skin. Skin doesn’t stop absorbing just because the tattoo artist finished with the tattoo. So we would tell our patients no guarantees and never say how many it would take to remove them. 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I will say the lasers of today, are so advanced that if you just find quality tattoo artists who used quality products, your odds go up much higher of success with us removing them easier.

I think it’s a good idea! I hear a lot about how people get anxious after they get tattoos because they can’t recognize their skin anymore. I crudely drew a fake sleeve on my arm with a paint pen to test if I would also panic from not seeing my skin and if I would like the look on me personally. It’s all temporary, so why not test the water in a safe setting where you can back out completely at any time?
