IT'S THE MAN REMY! He's such a lovely guy, too. Pioneer is the word, so many artists are still talking shit on it. He's living proof that you can tattoo over blackwork.

Remy is a hater! He bashes peoples tattoos, thinking he’s the shit. He’s a tool
Remi is out there testing all this stuff out over blackout so we don't have to go through the failures.. even if you don't like his body of work, it's impressive to see this stuff all over a full blackout suit... certainly pushing the boundaries and i'm all for it... good for him!
Dude ya can't put Remy in a thumbnail about awful tattoos. His tattoos look vibrant and amazing and he is revolutionary in the sense NO ONE thought what he is doing could be done. He tattoos look great too. Each to their own

@@sages101I was right you definitely don’t matter to anyone and you amount to nothing in life.
I appreciate how negative you are 😅. Actually, it’s just refreshing to see someone who is honest without worrying too much about offending someone. You always mention that it’s okay to disagree and this is just your opinion, so I can respect that. I hope you’ll continue to speak freely as your channel grows.

I respect Remi for what he’s achieving by pushing the limits. Its not for me but good on him
Ive been following remy for a quite a while now. Hes a pretty legit dude. He really just enjoys the process of being tattood in general, so thats why hes constantly changing his body suit and experimenting with things. Its really amazing to see proof of what you can do over black. Even black on black.
This video is why I love this channel. Takes his job seriously, doesn't take himself seriously.
Australian dollars are not the same as American dollars. He paid about 6,500 US dollars.
I'm guessing the Australian guy spent $10k Australian dollars on his sleeve which is about $6-7k in USD.
When Remy had black, white, and “grey” it looked rad af. Then he added the red and it looked like a velvet painting. I really liked it up to that point but then he kept going. I find it fascinating that he can keep going but it doesn’t mean he should. He is doing his thing and I admire that. But from a tattoo visual art perspective, it’s gone too far imo.

@@sages101sometimes autistic people have sensory issues, so something that doesn’t bother you, like the vibration of a machine, could be extremely uncomfortable and anxiety inducing for somebody else. I think that before you start bullying people and laughing at them for stating a literal opinion; you should maybe realise that not everybody is the same, and we all prefer different things. ephemeral means lasting a short while, not long lived. I Think the name is apt as this really is his third bodysuit as it was art/black/art and he's been talking about this one being ephemeral as well. Really nice guy though. Him and Lily lu got me to the tattoo shop again after 20 years.
I'm electrical engineer and think apprenticeship are important but always include self taught in your profession

if it's paid I am all with you but most tattoo apprenticeships are not paid because they 'get paid by being taught' while they have to clean, keep the books, do the bookings for clients ect. They do labour but are expected to live off of air and being taught and many think it's not fair, so they choose to teach themselves instead and I can't blame them 🤷

I wouldn’t get something that detailed hand poked and a machine would be quicker but as someone who has many hand poked tats I think it’s got its place as its own thing. Some people are pretty quick too. Glad to see you’re not just shitting on it completely like everyone else does tho. not everyone really acknowledges the difference between hand poke and stick n poke.
For me, if you're researching artists, and they have healed work on their page, it's a green flag. Especially if the pictures are clearly pictures that the client sent to the artist. It's a positive thing most of the time. So many artists don't show their healed work, which is concerning.
Sometimes i watch cring tattoo content to make me feel better about myself, its one this to do subjectively dog shit tattoos its another thing to film it for validation

I have a red rose that’s part of a large side piece and 13 years on, it still looks amazing and fresh
Oh lol i didn't even know all red tattoos were like a thing i have one but its because it was to copy something from a tv show that wasnt a tattoo. its healed pretty well though its more of a darker dryed blood red then like a bright red
Yep, I love this channel for its Power Of Demystification. 🤘😇👍
Anytime someone came to me for face tats, I made absolutely sure that they were absolutely sure. I’d tell them that they should know that 1: they will be judged wherever they go, and 2: they’re essentially eliminating like 90% of their job market/ opportunities. If they were cool with that then hey. Outta my hands after it’s done. 🤷♂️

Yo any chance of Bali full back tattoos review?
the first girl IMO is just trolling, they are things called job stoppers for a reason , and boy oh boy did she have them, people have become a lot more accepting of tattoos in general but hers are a bit much, its not just the placement that a problem its the content, pentagrams and satanic imagery on the face, neck and chest, her chest tattoo could be hidden with clothing but unless she put a bag over her head there's no way to hide the others, and people like to be expressive i get that, but seriously she knew she wasn't getting the job and she knew it, she's the person that you don't want to be behind in line at the airport metal detector, people on her tik tok and only fans may accept her appearance but not mainstream society, she is bound to give some little kid nightmares that would require years of therapy
Denied at TJ Maxx has a OF so that’s how she’s making her money. The whole situation was just advertising for her.
Hey what's your opinion on engraving style tattoos specifically 15th century art style, what would you rate the difficulty level of this type of tattoo?

Obviously not Kirk but I’ve been researching it heavily because I was looking into getting a tattoo in that style. I think it looks super rad and I found an artist I really vibe with. This was hard because a lot of artists that specialize in it are based in Poland for some reason. Generally, it ages well. If the lines are close together and fine, they will blur together to resemble something closer to traditional shading. If it’s closer to woodcut, ie bolder lines that are spaced farther apart, even with a lot of detail, they age to look almost exactly as they did fresh.
I'm lucky enough to have met a few pretty legendary tattoo artists; Roy Boy, his first ex wife Jeanie, Aaron Peters who is one if the Best at a Realistic Portrait. But i have no ink. None.

Ephemeral means short lived.
I simply don't believe the Aussie guy that his sleeve cost $10k. Nope.
I think about the hiring people with tattoos maybe retail I get it but I think if someone wants a job for let’s say welding or a job that requires you to show your skill I’d give them a job if they are skilled and show that
I think you would like true blue Tattoo convention in Eindhoven netherlands! Bobeus is One of the people running the show 👌🏻 by tattooers for Tattoo lovers
Why is he a tattoo artist if he hates everything dude 🤣
I would like Remy more if he wasn't such an egotistic hipster goth. His suit is nice but he fucking loves himself
Remy is seemingly a really nice chap. But by far he isn't at all the first to get multiple full bodysuits. There were folks doing it decades before the internet. Remy is very good at using social media and its good he is opening this part of the tattoo culture up to the general public. Though im pretty sure nobody reading this or the producer of this video were involved in the convention or tattoo culture back in the 80s or even the 90s. You youngbloods got a lot to learn about the tattoo culture. 😂😂😂

That Remy guy has been popping up on my IG explore for a long time and he is always talking about the usefulness of adding multiple layers on top of already blacked out and covered up layers. He owns a tattoo shop. From a business perspective, he's selling customers on the idea that they can just keep tattooing over the same skin over and over and they'll be happy to provide the service. I'm sure. From an industry and overall safety standpoint, I think this is really bad advice. I personally don't like his tattoo aesthetic at all but the idea of constantly adding new layers isn't something that should be promoted as positive, imo. Coverups are one thing but this is so beyond that.

He doesnt own the shop. He was a cook for a very long time and 2 of the artists that work at that shop did a lot of his work. Eventually because of his own social media popularity, he took a job at the shop managing the place and running their social media. His wife is now apprenticing and tattooing their as well, but hes still not the owner. He has been getting tattood and doing the layers for yeeeeears, even before he was involved at that current shop at all. He also doesnt advise anyone to go get 50 layers or w/e like him, he just says "this is what im doing, and its proof you can do it" thats about it. He really just likes doing his own thing and the rest is w/e.
Remy loos like a clown
I had an appt with arieldejesus and she canceled it. Glad she did. I got a good quality tattoo artist who is doing a sleeve on me.
Around the 16:30 mark. Thats aerial dejasus.or w/e. She owns a shop called blind fold tattoos. She is absolutely awful and should have her license revoked. Shes been on camera several times doing things that are completely unhygienic, been caught stealing art and butchering it, teaching her 12 year old daughter to tattoo and then letting her tattoo on clients and even leaving her alone in the shop once while doing it! Her whole gimmick is she blind folds you, and tattoos you using 3 things you pick and she does it in like an hr or two for dirt cheap.
You're not afraid to show us some bad tattoos youve done? Shit, bust em out, let's critique.
Obviously an internship is valuable bc you have someone overseeing your work personally and telling you what you could do better or how to do it to begin with so the fact that you're saying the value is in learning how to deal with every day frustrations that you'd deal with at literally any other job, or even just over time as you get older, is a bit weird my dude. Especially when you're charging the person to be your apprentice, when you admitted he'd get the same thing out of working a service job. Are you even teaching this guy or just riding his ass and calling it good? Are you one of the people that won't let the intern pick up the machine until they're a year in? 😢
