I studied historical music and music ethnology in Cologne/Germany and the Hague/Netherlands.
- Oud & Lute - King of Instruments -
The origin of the oud belongs to the ancient times and similar instruments were used by the Babylonian and ancient Egyptian. Until today, oud is played as the "king of instruments" in Arabic culture.
The oud found his way to Europe in medieval times and it became "lute". During the Renaissance the lute was also regarded as the "king of instruments".

A sequel to the previous poem dedicated to @ariadnne222 and Naochika Sogabe and all the rest!. in silence, echoes of hope arise from whispers of a heart that never dies the resilient tones, a gentle breeze stirring embers of a love that still seizes through city streets, they wander free a symphony of memories of laughter, tears, and all we've been a bittersweet refrain, a story unseen in every beat, a chance to begin to heal the scars, to mend the skin resilient tones, a beacon bright guiding us through the darkest night with every step, a path unfolds to places hidden, yet to be told of triumphs and tribulations shared of stories woven, of hearts repaired through trials by fire, we're refined resilient tones, our hearts entwined with every note, a message clear of hope and courage, always near in every crescendo, we rise above resilient tones, a love that's enough to face the unknown, to find our way to stand tall, come what may so let us cherish these resilient tones a solace in times of joy and moans reminding us to stand strong and true and rise again, anew. this sequel aims to build upon the themes of hope, resilience, and the power of music to heal and inspire. i hope you like it!
