Brilliant find Chris, love how you got Stacia's autograph on there too. I've just kickstarted my vinyl collecting again after decades and this and In Search Of Space are on my list, if you haven't got it, the recent-ish Space Ritual deluxe set with the extra live recordings is a good time.

Love the early original Fleetwood Mac LPs before the females invaded and ruined them musically - now meh music fodder - and a sure cure for insomnia! They certainly sold out! ...Family & Golden Earring - ALL fantastic LPs! Colosseum LPs also great! Cannot listen to later Zappa LPs though - they mostly sound like noise to me. "Freak Out" was the classic debut!

Music In A Dolls ' House is one of my all time favourite albums. I have all Familys' studio albums now, but the debut was the first I bought and is still my favourite..Great prog psych with great production from Traffics' Dave Mason makes for a terrific listen..your copy looks minty too. Great video Chris, an interesting bit of trivia is that the Beatles were planning to call their next album "In A Dolls House" until someone pointed out that Family had just released their own album with this title, so The Beatles just called theirs The Beatles, but it's more commonly known as The White Album... Some interesting records there, going to check out the Otis Spann/Fleetwood Mac album...

Arthur Brown is one of those lps you'd think would be money like most UK psych lps but still very affordable. It must have sold very well at the time. Waterloo Lily has been elusive for me as well. You just never see any copies, unlike their other lps. I'd recommend all the Nucleus lps, as well as Belladonna by Ian Carr. Earlier ones are more jazz with rock elements then they get progressively more jazz funk fusion. The prices have shot up in recent years. Nice buys mate...Nigel

"Rolled Gold" was released 14 November 1975, peaked on UK chart at # 7. No counterpart marketed in US. I bought "Stone Age" in 1971 that wasn't authorized by the Stones. Decca was trying to make fast change while the Stones were riding high with "Sticky Fingers." I strongly dislike (hate) anything that is electronically rechanneled stereo. Give me the mono version any day.

New subscriber here. In the US that hole punch in that Animals album is usually what we call a cutout. Back in the day record stores could end back LPs that didn’t sell and the distributors would cut a corner or punch a hole in the album. They would then be sold at a discount. It would stop the stores from selling them at full price. Nice find on that one.

Enjoyed the video Chris. Soul Mining is a great album. I'd forgotten all about Penguin Cafe Orchestra but you've inspired me to rediscover them. The Pentangle box sets look great. Cherry Red are a fantastic label for CD box sets. I guess most people watching your videoss are mainly interested in vinyl, but a lot of the box sets Cherry Red produce would not be viable on vinyl, just because of size/ weight and probably expense. Anyone interested in retrospective box sets should check out Cherry Red. You've got me interested too in Rodrigo y Gabriela. Looking forward to the next video- keep collecting and keep making videos, all the best Chris.

Both fabulous artists Chris..I've been a fan of Penguin Cafe Orchestra for a long time, their first 3 or 4 albums are wonderful..quirky, classical pop..Simon Jeffes sadly died quite a long time ago but the band continues as Penguin Cafe. Soul Mining is one of my all time favourite albums..I bought it when it was released as I loved Uncertain Smile..( although the 12" single version is quite different and possibly even better imho). You're right, there isn't a bad song..to be honest, it's their best, although the follow up Infected is decent along with Dusk ( I think from around 1992) which has Johnny Marr on guitar. Nice Pentangle CD boxes, I havecther entire discography on vinyl, but those boxsets do look nice. The Rodrigo sounds interesting , I love virtuoso acoustic music if its' got something different about it. All the best.
