Enjoyed your video, brilliant record , lucky enough to have been listening to it since it came out - a friend bought it on release . There was a uk release on Go Feet which is the re mix, tbh it’s 40 odd years since I heard the original and don’t remember any difference lol😂

Excellent idea for a series. I not really a reggae man, but you’ve got me interested with that great description and plotted history of the record. Really good video! Mike

I was gifted a CD copy of that Congos comp, which is the 2 CD version...I agree, .it's a wonderful listen.

Nice one.I had no idea there were different versions. I’ve got what I think is a 2008 vinyl release, with a second disc called ‘The Best Of The Rest’ . The original is on some horrible splatter vinyl..the second disc is black. I have no idea if I have the remix or not! Great record though.I put it up ther with The Gladiators ‘Trench Town Mix Up’ and The mighty Diamonds ‘Right Time’ (Right Time might be my favourite Reggea album ever’

Hi, my intro to the Congo’s was the double CD, fell in love with it at first listen. I then also picked up the reissue on vinyl. I wasn’t aware of the latest triple release but will keep my eyes peeled now. Great great album.

The triple realese was the 40th anniversary edn,realised in 2017.. All the best chris..

The one for me was a record I picked up this weekend from my recycle Center Skinhead Moonstomp Symarip.think it was a skinhead band by the cover turns out to be a reggae band on the Trojan label unfortunately the last two tracks are damage but still a good album 1970…payed 20p
