Congrats on passing 500 subs Chris.. Lovely Tyrannosaurus Rex find.. debut Early OG Tull albums go for decent money..Nice find with Stand Up..£30 for that pressing sounds about right. Good explanation of The Purple album pressing history, I've got an earlyish press of ' Talysin' it sounds great and was dirt cheap. Lovely copy of Folkjokeopus..glad you're getting into Roy, Chris..I bought a reissue recently on his Science Friction label which is a gatefold and has a great write up of the history of the record and notes by Roy himself..McGoohans' Blues is just magnificent . I love Leonard Cohens' debut, particularly So Long, Marianne. Never been a huge Bob Seeger fan either, but I bought his Bob Seeger System album from the early 70s and its a decent listen, but not essential. Not heard the one you showed. All the best Rob.

@@thesuffolkrecordcollector680Sorry Chris, I wrote a lengthy comment on your previous video, but for some reason it hasn't posted ..Thanks for the shout out re: Roy Harper, I would also like to reccomend you check out Lifemask ( 1973) and Valentine ( 1974), they contain some of his best arrangements, a few great rockers and some gorgeous ballads..enjoy! Rob.

Hi rob ,I will certainly keep an eye out for those ,to be honest I don't see them about much, hopefully it's because I haven't been looking for them. All the best chris..

@@thesuffolkrecordcollector680 Lifemask has been reissued on his Science Friction label and should still be available for about £20 ..Valentine can be harder, as I don't think it's had a reissue recently..OGs and 2nd presses do turn up at fairs, expect a VG + copy to be around £25-30..an OG with the rare lyric book around £40.

Hi Chris. Harper records are as rare as hen’s teeth over here. So great. Fantastic Cohen debut. Saw him in ‘74, one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Agree with you on breaking down and buying new reissues. Nice finds. Cheers.

Hi Chris, If you like "Smokin' Op's", you should seek out a copy of "Back in 72". It has the original version of "Turn the Page". Getting hard to find.

Hi Chris, as always excellent finds - really tip top condition. The market stall you mention looks like it frequently delivers. 🙂 Re your Deep Purple 3rd - the Far East pressings seem so mysterious don't they? They do turn up from time to time but are far rarer than the UK versions. I have a Singapore/HK press of Queen's self titled debut. Great pressing with a lovely thick sleeve that is textured, totally unique. Found in pristine nick for £1 at a car boot a few years back. A very random find indeed. Keep those vids coming!

Regarding Bob Seger you need to get the 3 Bob Seger System lps released 68, 69 and 70. Great psych and hard rock. US only so obviously they don't turn up in the UK. People also love his solo debut from 71, Brand New Morning. Again, US only and sadly expensive. I'd highly recommend you getting more Roy Harper, really great. My People Were Fair...by Tyrannosaurus Rex was their debut btw. Regards Nigel

@@thesuffolkrecordcollector680 Yep, very true. I really wish I could find US records in the UK but it's rare. A lot of US cutouts ended up in Europe in the 70s and 80s, hence you see them for sale on Discogs. I got the first Bob Seger System in a 5 euro box at Utrecht many years ago but sadly don't own the others. Cheers and all the best...Nigel
