I have a theory: What if remembering everything about themselves and being aware of what they look like would make the exit door finally usable. In the pilot, we saw that the exit door was unusable and it didn't even have half of its structure. By I mean usable, I mean you can finally use it to escape.

It's odd that Manmon would have a flower representing "Safety". It maybe a stretch, but I have a theory that could POSSIBLY make it work. I've personally theorized that Manmon and the Mafia are in conflict with one another, so I could understand why a resident of the Greed Ring may possibly see Mammon as a "Safer Alternative" to the Mafia (but as I said, it's a stretch).

When Pomni first showed up and tried to take the headset off, het said something like, "we've all tried it." And he also mentioned that Kinger had" supposedly been there the longest," which would suggest that Jax must be a newer arrival if he doesn't actually know who's been there longest. If he was an NPC surely other characters would know since he got there after at least some of them. Also if he was an NPC he wouldn't have known how to blend in and pretend to be human who just suddenly showed up, at least not without interacting with someone first the way Pomni did with Gummigoo, in which case someone should know that he's an NPC. Personally, I have 3 theories right now. 1) He's an AI similar to Caine with comparable control over the world, hence the images of the void on his pin. 2) He's a human, but knows more about the digital world than he's letting on. Possibly someone working with the company that made the game. Maybe he's able to take the headset off and does so when everyone else goes to sleep in their rooms so he doesn't actually need a room of his own. 3) At some point Caine made an adventure that involved NPC doppelgangers that could mimic existing characters. The real Jax is gone and a doppelganger NPC took his place. That would explain why no one remembers him as an NPC and why there's a room with Jax's face on it. Any changes in personality from that point onward were probably waved off by the other characters as him starting to lose his mind.

Since angel's sin is most likely not lust (BEFORE YOU CORRECT ME REMEMBER THIS IS MY THEORY OK* angel seems to be a drug addict in the addict music video he said overdoesed is how he died and i think his sin is gluttony because it doesnt just mean over eating its over endulgence and maybe he indulged too much into drugs maybe his story is that he over doced after a long life of drugs and stress and maybe he only sinned further and gained a new sin in lust in hell and husk might also have been a sinner of gluttony in his life because he might have drunk too much maybe he died in a bar fight or he got greed because he is seen in casino's too maybe he died losing a bet or a fight there another thing he might be a sinner of lust if he worked at a stripper bar (sorry if there is any misspelling) Edir:maybe they both do a virtue of chastity and charity it could be able to save angel and if husk is a sinner of gluttony he could give up his over drinking if he is a sinner of greed he could stop gambling because we never see him gambling but we see him gambling for love or respect like when he challenged alastor and gambled loving angel maybe thats how he gets the virtue of chastity and stop gambling for respect since he fond it in love thats my theory dont mind corecting or calling out the plot hokes its ok

The exterminations have *not* been for nothing. They do serve a purpose of avoiding the apocalypse. “When hell is full the dead shall walk the earth”. Angels caring more for the *living* makes sense. And even then, how many of those souls that were really repentant without Charlie’s input (cuz hey, thinking beings) might have gone to heaven before she even thought about the hotel? Any soul searching for an exterminator and giving themself away cuz they do suffer only to wake up in heaven?

I saw this personality from Jax coming from a mile away and I hadnt looked into it at all since I had only seen the pilot and the first episode and hadnt read anything about it. I mean if you really know how to spot an egotistical, manipulative, asshole type of person its not hard to figure it out just by watching the episodes.
