Thanks for the comment! It can vary slightly, but a Bachelor of Paramedicine (or similar) can take up to 4 years part-time, or 3 years full-time. We hope this helps!

Hi !! Help me out🙏 I am a high school student from MIT and my friends, and I were playing a world's craziest game involving rapidly whipping our heads back and forth. I aggressively accelerated and decelerated my head, forcefully in whiplash like manner, lashing it around in an attempt to win. Afterwards, I experienced an intense and unfamiliar headache, almost like the sensation from a wound or cut. I also felt confused mentally. Feeling awkward to ask others about the question? Did I possibly suffer a concussion from this self-inflicted head trauma? And if so, is it likely I lost some neurons due to stretching and tearing?

Stop calling yourself a Paramedic you are not. Paramedic is a protected title in Australia, you must be registered with AHPRA and have a suitable qualification.

Hi, Thanks for your comment! You are correct - individuals must be registered with AHPRA to call themselves paramedics. We're happy to advise that Nathan is registered and still loving this career in emergency services. Have a great day.

In general You Tube videos with their high quality images are accomplished .informative.educatitive and pleasantly entertaining save that in some videos presenter's voices are hardly audible. Videos on health have greatly assisted me to understand my health condition so that I am enabled to take the necessary measure. Thanks You Tube

Whatever neck brace was used for me in 2017 April 3rd truck accident. I think it was for children because I’m only tiny. It was a good brace, the paramedics wrapped a towel around my whole head once I was laying down as movement hurt my neck. Paramedics well done, if only emergency was as good as Your service that day. I’ve been searching for it ever since. It was clipped of me easily and was not bulky

Hi Melissa, We had a chat with our Training and Assessment Team and they mentioned it could have even been a soft collar that you were provided with. Alternatilvey, it could have been a 'Stifneck Select Extrication Collar'. We hope this helps!

This is a slippery slope seen in all aspects of confronting occupations, front line emergency services, military occupations or dangerous occupations. The compounding application of humour as a coping mechanism is correlated with reduction in empathy, for other occupations this may not impede operations, however empathy is a core value needed to be a good healthcare worker. I fear creating a culture of acceptable "professional" dark humour diffuses into losing empathy. I can't foresee an opportunity where we keep exclusivity

Resources will alter although from state to state, country to country and even patient to patient meaning that what applies to one may not apply to another.
