Fun movie! So, near the end of the movie when talking about Dennis Rodman he was a basketball player at the time who usually wore controversial outfits or had crazy hair, tattoos, etc. so it was just a joke that it could be easily assumed HE was an alien LOL. So if you remember when J and K were talking with the wife of Edgar (the Edgar suit guy) and she gave them lemonade... it tasted bad because she didn't have any SUGAR to make it sweet because Edgar/the bug had drank all the sugar/sugar water she had. And the guy in the pawn shop who got his head blown off by K? ... that is Tony Shalhoub, one of the best actors ever, so versatile! He played the main character in the TV series Monk.

Love how everyone you know, says the crew was so lax, and making bad decisions, but isn't that with most horror,.and the thing about this movie, that was kinda the point, Ridley Scott made sure he landed how calm they were all about hurling through space, it was just another day, just another haul, they had no reason to think, this trip wouldn't be the same old trip, job,..and the only science officer on board, who was really working actively against their survival, wasn't going to tell them otherwise,..the sets you see for the movie, were built like a working ship, real hallways, corridors, ladders leading to corridors,..real food galley, Sigourney, the actress in a behind the scenes look at the movie, expressed really getting lost, turned around when they filmed this, and you can imagine really being disoriented filming that escape scene, with all the flashing lights, smoke, dark hall,..it's a masterpiece in filmmaking, the scene with the creature bursting through Kane's chest, no one but Scott, and most likely actor John Hurt, knew it was gonna be that gorey,..do check out the sequel, you won't be disappointed,..Godspeed, Peace ✌

Great movie reaction guys, by the way I've never seen those types of roaches in this movie in person, but generally speaking the roaches here in Texas are HUGE. We have different types here but the worst is the German cockroach, they're apparently the ones who carry the most can diseases and are small with weird translucent looking skin. And the worst roaches are the ones that can fly.

I never understood why people thought this movie was good. The ship design makes no sense, the crew are morons and the whole situation is utterly contrived and relies on no logical decisions being made the whole time. The sequel is hardly any better.

Jones has claimed that he's never had a part that he didn't love and doesn't have a job. Just a hobby that pays very well.🤑🤑 4. "Congratulations Reg........It' a squid". 5. Having a weapon with a recoil like that defeats the purpose of a human using it. (I see what they did there)🧐 6. Tell me this wasn't a fun movie. I dare you.

Thing about dwarves like Gimli is that while they are small. They're still kind of like chimps. They've got alot of muscle and they're big boned and tough and not easily taken down.

That King of England is known as the Lionheart and would defeat the Muslims in the Holyland only for his peer King of France to betray him and attack the English King's lands back home. Richard the Lionheart would be remembered as a great leader of men and Saladin had respect for him. He failed to retake Jurusalem.

When he says that 'God does not know me' he means that he feels no connection to God due to the cruelty of the world and the sins he has commited. People tell him he is virtues but he does not believe them. He does not feel worthy of God.

A few things :) the europeans in Palestine ARE all crusaders, but they are not all the same. The red and white ones, those are "Knights Templar", or just Templars, and they are fanatics and do have a bloodthirsty reputation. We would call them war criminals today really. They are warrior priests. Similar, are the ones in black with the white cross .. those are "Knights Hospitalier", or Hospitaliers, but they have a more scholarly reputation, and are more diplomatic, with a great interest in medicine .. its from them we get the word "hospital". Other lots of knights will bear the arms of a european noble, and are not priests, but just professional fighting men sworn in service to some king or baron .. the pope has ordered all these european kings and noblemen to come, on pain of excommunication, but some are more reluctant than others .. many are hoping for spiritual awakening, or insight into heaven here, but some are just pirates out for loot.

The solders in white are titled Storm Troopers and their wearing armor made of Plasteel which disperses blaster fire (the laser guns) across the plate lessening the impact. Unless shot many times, it’s a good chance the storm trooper inside is alive but injured and out cold.
