Yeah I don’t think I’m gonna try this for my Scout. The trim ring isn’t what holds our glass in on our cluster. Damn
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. It was a pretty tough job for sure. Also a bit intimidating. Either way if you haven't done so already please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it.
What is the part number on Amazon?
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. The UPC number is UPC 784848344136 It is $17.59. it's by a company Anurijiadu... Please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it.
Hey Nub buddy!!!
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. Yeah the Nub Club! Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button.
There must be plenty of space between the pistons & the valves & doing the timing belt wrong with most other engine would be a bent valve or 2.
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I'm not sure if the engine is a non-contact engine or not. I guess if it is I was lucky and apparently where I had it out of time was still at a point to where the valves wouldn't hit the top of the pistons.. Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it!
dont you need to use glue?
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. The kit comes with adhesive tape already applied to the correct areas. Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it!
A+ fix. Great job.
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. It was a lot more work than I really wanted to get in to but I did want it to be as good as I could make it. Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it.
Thanks for taking the time to record your repair. 👍🚜
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I hope it helped you with your mower. I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it.
I think it would be fun to restore an old Pinto, don't care what anybody says, they were cool little cars! I would think now a more modern engine could be installed or at least more modern parts in an original engine. Seems like about every 30,000 miles the rings would be shot and it would be throwing oil all over the under side of the hood. I don't know much about working on cars but I did replace the timing belt on my Pinto many many years ago. I also replaced the left front fender and the hood after I had a little fender bender. I would need to learn a lot about cars to ever be able to rebuild one. For now I'll just have to enjoy watching you rebuild yours!
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I always liked the Pintos and actually had 2 of them a various times when I was younger. This makes my 3rd. This car needs a LOT of love. There is considerably more rust than I was expecting. It's quite a project and I appreciate your Subscription. Going to be a lot of work, but I'm committed to it. Thanks again.
I will enjoy watching your progress. It's too bad you don't have a concrete pad under the car Good luck. I have subscribed.
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I have a nice garage that I could have put it in to work on it but my wife wouldn't give me her spot...😁. Either way thanks again and thanks for Subscribing! I really do appreciate it.
Wow, I was so impressed with your initial installation . I does appear to still be adhered but why is it so loose? Is the rubber roof detached from actual roof? Thanks
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. It seems to change a lot depending on temperature. Yes I'm not certain but it does seem that the rubber roof does pull away from the wooden roof under it. I no longer own that RV so don't really know how it's doing currently. Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it.
@@NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS Thanks for quick reply. Hmmm, interesting, not sure what to think of it. When you completed your repairs, did you have the RV long enough to determine if you resolved those leaks? I am dealing with cab overhang on class C RV, more less same trouble, corners, front/ side window and trims. Nightmare. And yes, I subscribed, will watch some more videos now….
Hi again. Yes I stopped all the leaks and do recommend the Eternabond tape. I just think it expands and contracts with temp more than the original rubber roof. It was not turning loose. The stuff is sticker than anything I have ever seen. I think it's key to clean the area extremely well.
@@NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS Hard to say just from video but the wrinkles and air pockets got me seriously concerned. Yah, I got the Eternabond tape it sticks to anything indeed, just very concerned about down the road as I plan to keep the RV for years. Do you live in very rainy location? Roof one year later turned black again. Thanks for your efforts put in video and info provided
I live in central Alabama. I don't know why exactly but the roofs do tend to turn black over a couple of years.
Very well done I can tell Me were to line the timing sits again
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I hope it was helpful for you. Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button.
Spark plugs dont "turn off" especially due to throttle position..
On a golf cart when you let off the gas completely, what causes the engine to stop running? 🤷♂️
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. When you let off of the gas pedal, the butterfly valve in the carburetor shuts off cutting the fuel/air mixture to the engine. It also shuts the power to the coil off which stops the plugs from sparking at least that's how I understand it. I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it.
Love the idea but notching the bottom of the trusses is not a good idea
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I'm not too worried about it. They are really not trusses but are rafters. I only notched one 1 1/2 inches deep. I also have 2 x 4 purlins spanning across the tops of the rafters. I'm confident it will be fine. Either way I do appreciate your feedback. If you haven't done so already please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it.
Great video my friend, thumbs up

Thanks for the video series on the Robin engine rebuild. I followed it all the way to rebuild my engine over the winter and its great to have a running cart again! I replaced the carb along with my rebuild "while I was at it". The issue I'm having is that the cart runs too fast - it is no longer a gentle ride. I have to choke it to contain the power. I've tried adjusting the air/fuel mixture screw which is exactly like the one on your new carb, but this doesn't make much difference in it. I've adjusted the choke to trim it closed a bit but then it gets weak trying to go up an incline. The engine sounds fine but is running too hard to be useable. Kinda like it just goes wide open when you give it some gas and keeps accelerating hard. Would you think this is an engine / carb issue or maybe a clutch issue? Honestly, it struggled to pull a hill before I rebuilt the engine and I'm disappointed that I still have this problem with the fresh engine. I disassembled and cleaned the drive clutch and "tested" the action of the driven clutch and it generally seems fine - no broken springs. I appreciate your thoughts on what I might do to tame this thing so its more pleasant to use around the place.
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. It sounds like the throttle linkages are not correct. Try to compare yours to what mine looks like in the video. Let me know if that works for you.
Great job. Love the design.
Hi, thanks for watching and the comments. It was an interesting project and did turn out pretty well. The TV still works too! Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and Liking my channel. Thanks again.
I just got my 1995 G14 golf cart running again after fix the oil agitator and adjusting the lifters. It hard to turn over now and sluggish running and slows to stop. And, now the cable on the starter, stated smoking ? Derrick
Hi...wow, I haven't a clue on that one. Sounds like the engine is too tight somewhere.
I like it... ALOT
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. Yes it was a fun project that turned out great. I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it.
Hey buddy, i got everything i need to start now . If you could help me with two measurements i would sure appreciate it . I need to know the measurement from the center of the 3/4" round bar to the inside edge of the gazebo. And the other measurement from the center of the 3/4" round bar to the underneath side of the metal ceiling panels. . That would give me a starting point . And help me to know what size square tube to buy . Thank you sir .
Hi Tim, I'm away from my drawings for the next week but will get for you as soon as possible.
@NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS that would be awesome. Thank you . I go in for a major surgery on Friday , so I will be down for a while and not be able to lift anything for a while . But I would like to know those measurements so I can have it all in my minds eye . If ya know what I mean . Thanks for getting back to me . I found a place in Utah , and a cool guy named Matt that got me all new equipment actuator, power supply and wireless remote that can be programmed to know the end points. So I just press one button. Very cool .
I was able to look at the files that I put links to in the description on Google drive. You should see a file there called "TV Mount Assembly Rev 2". You should be able to get your hands on a free CAD program and view that DXF file. You can take dims off of that.
@NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS I looked at all the drawings. I should be able to get the measurements from the center of round bar to the edge of gazebo by using the existing measurements and then scaling the gap . And the one from the center of round bar to underneath ceiling I can get close from the size of the 2x4 and then look closely at the video. Thanks for all you have done . I still say it's the best design for a gazebo ever . I have s much respect for your ability to think outside the box and then make your hand do what you thought would work . Well done sir 👏 👍
Thanks, let me know how yours turns out.
Did you replace the old caulking with new caulking and then put the binding tape over? Or did you just simply put binding tape over the old caulking? I think my trailer needs to be recalled but I’m wondering if I should just use the tape instead of caulking
HI thanks for watching and the comments. I removed any loose caulking and cleaned the rest as good as I could. I then covered it with the Eternabond tape. I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it!
Hey I recently did a rebuild on my 02 EZ Go TXT with the 295 Robin engine. Your videos made it super easy. I have one one Question. There is a yellow wire that that comes from the ingnitor box to the coil that looks like itsw a ground wire and I cant find where it screws into to save my life. Tip please let me know
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. In my case the two wires coming from the ignitor were Black and Red. The come from the ignitor and run into a ivory colored plug. This plugs into a harness thats on the cart. The two wires that plug to the coil also come from the cart. The only wire I didn't use was one coming from an oil pressure switch as my cart wasn't set up to use it. You may have already but if not watch my video on the rebuild of the engine. Maybe that will help you. I think you may have already but if not, please consider Subscribing and Liking my videos. I'd really appreciate it!
Why not paint with silicone while you were up there
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. My plan was to come back and do that. I wound up selling the RV though. Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it!
Just bought my 72 ford pinto last month, working on it has been a great joy and I’m excited to get it on the road. Your car is extremely similar to mine so I wish you the best on it. I’ll be following.
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I'm really looking forward to fixing it up but first I want to get the mechanics working. I just found out a few days ago that the engine it toast. Looks like it was probably ran without oil. So, I'm trying to source another engine which are extremely scarce. Either way if you haven't done so already please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it.
Fb brought me here

I did the timing mistake with the dot. I should have watched the whole video oh my gosh 3rd time the charm
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I really don't understand the purpose of the dot. I'm sure it's messed a lot of people up! I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it!
Hey buddy, Tim again . Is there anyway you can give me the make and model number off of the actuator you used ? It was already DC 110v right .? All in one unit . So I can see if I can locate one . Please 🙏
Yes, I'll have to find the info.
Hi Tim, I put it on Google Drive. The link is on the description. The one I used was a pretty old one. The remote to operate it was a wired type. Newer ones use wireless remotes.
@@NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTSThank you so much . 😊 I will see if I can find one like it . I will let you know if I do . Have a great week. 👍
@NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS hey buddy , I found a couple on ebay . One is unused with the power supply mounted to it . But when I asked him if it worked if he plugs it into a wall outlet. He replied and said that he does not have the remote to make it work . How did yours work ? Do I just need a toggle switch to make it work . Or do I need a remote control unit just for that actuator and power supply ? 🤔
Mine is wired to the remote and I don't think you could just use a toggle switch in its place. The remote cable plugs into the power supply. So you might be able to also find a remote to use with it. If it's a newer type of actuator it may use a wireless remote. Maybe the seller could tell you what type it requires.
Great video…. Thanks for sharing

@@NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS I’ll be taking my engine out this week and will reference this video when I do my rebuild….. I also subscribed to your channel…. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the Subscription! I do appreciate it. I have other videos on the golf cart you might find useful. Removing the engine, replacing the engine are a couple.
Did you apply the eterna tape over the side black rubber trim or removed it and applied the eterna tape over it?
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I removed the black plastic strip that covered the screws. I then washed it and cleaned it really well. Then l covered it with the Eternabond tape. I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing. I would really appreciate it.
You mind sharing those manual pics
Hi, I don't have the manual but you can find it online. Not sure if I can leave a link here but I'll try: support.countrycat.com/posts/2813284-e-z-go-295-350-engine-manual
you do know that car blows up when rear ended
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. Yeah I know. Ford issued a recall to help with that and this one has had that done. I had one when I was a much younger 18 year old and drove that little car everywhere... either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it!
@@NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS had one also, there is no fix. tank is in back of car, already sub you. My favorite thing about my pinto was you had to say it was a 1972 and a half or you got the wrong part. 1972 was different from the 1972 and a half. My friend had a pinto also and we joked about blowing up😀 It's like owning a pitbull. I drove it because I got it free as a teen
The footprint of those blocks you have it sitting on, is too small. The bottom block(s) could give way on that gravel. Put a one foot square piece of 1/2" plywood under each bottom wood block. More stability. You have your work cut out for you. That Pinto is a total wreck. Stay safe.
Hi thanks for watching the video and the comments. It's pretty stable but I will heed you advice and put some plywood under them. As you can tell I will be spending significant time under it. The next thing I have to do is get the engine going. One thing about the project is that I am going to take my time because I have a lot of other irons in the fire too. You're correct about it being a total wreck. Most people wouldn't even think about it. I may be in over my head but I going to try anyway. Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and like my channel. I would really appreciate it. I have some other interesting stuff on my channel as well. Is your actuator 12v or 24v ? And the actuator I'm looking at on Amazon is 12v and 6" travel at 650 lbs . Is that good for this project? Also, I'm not an electrician . It comes with an up down toggle switch. Would that switch also wire to a regular electrical outlet? And convert it to 12v ?
Tell me which one you're looking at on Amazon. Mine plugs into 110 but has a converter down to 12 volts DC.
@@NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS brand: RVMARINEPAT Linear actuator 12v with controller 6" 3000N/660lbs stroke electric 5mm/s motion actuator heavy duty with reverse polarity switch controller. This is the one I'm looking at .
I believe you will need a pretty hefty 12 volts DC supply with that.
@NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS Thank you , any recommendations from Amazon that would work easier for me than that one ? I'm not familiar with these actuators . Or a recommendation of a hefty DC power supply? Without spending a boat load of money.
If you could find a power bed actuator on eBay or Facebook. Thats what I did. Power supply and actuator all in one package. I even seen people giving away complete old beds.
Thanks for the great video sir!

I guess on KZread we can not share email fo some reason.
Guess not.
I am so impressed, sir . 👏 . I love the design it is the only one I have seen the tv mounts face up. That, in my opinion, is the best way to keep the tv close to the edge of the gazebo. I want to make one . I am a retired pipefitter welder . I have a few questions. If you have time to answer them, it would be greatly appreciated . I did like and subscribed. The angle you welded the steel brackets was that at 45 degrees? And did the tv end up sitting vertically plumb when all the way down like you had hoped? With that same design, would it be possible to get it slightly tilted down rather than vertically plumb ? Or if you have given it any thought. The design is nothing short of genius, sir . Way to think outside of the box . I'm going to buy the actuator from Amazon. Can you lead me to one that has the power and length of travel to get it to work properly? My gazebo is metal frame, so I will be using threaded rivets to mount with . What gadge square tube would be best . To keep it light but still strong enough to hold the tv . I'm going to use the 55" as well . Hopefully, that's not too many questions, lol 😆. My name is Tim, and I live in Vegas. It was a pleasure watching you work. Thank you 😊
Hi Tim. Thanks for watching the video and Subscribing. If you would give me your email address, I'll send you some info on exactly what I did. I don't know how to include attachments here.
Hi Tim, I uploaded drawings for the rig into my Google Drive. I put links to them in the description. Let me know if I can help further.
@@NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS I don't know why my email will not go through in a reply.

Your drawings are excellent. Are they in inches or cm . 0.5 is = 1/2" ?
Thx for sharing, it helped me a lot. All the other videos have too much going on. ✌️

great project, but I can't figure out how you made the mechanism to rock the cradle. Could you explain it to me and show me the right hardware store?
Hi thank for watching and the comments. I used hardware from McMaster Carr. You can go to their webpage and search for 3 parts: 90835A658, 90835A310, and spacer 8627K159. Let me know if I can help further. If you havent done so already I would really appreciate you Subscribing and Liking my channel. Thanks!
Mine has like a turbine noise whe. I run the blades
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. Sounds like one of the pulleys that the belt rides on for the blade is bad. There are several pulleys. You could remove the belt and turn each pulley by hand. It will feel rough as you turn it. Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it!
What makes you think this is an "old girl"? LOL
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. Well, it's old for sure! Not totally sure on its gender, but it is identifying as female.
Can't wait to see what you do with it
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. It is going to be a very long process. Lots of rust to deal with.
I just replaced mine following your instructions. Only thing I did differently was changing out the breather hose? That has the 90 bends in it. I put one together out of pieces parts so it might be why I’m having issues. Runs for a bit and then gets bogged down and just idles rough. Taking off clean air filter and filter box lid seems to help. Thoughts?
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. Did you replace the fuel pump? I'm not sure that's it but something to check. The fuel pump works off of the vacuum pulses of the crank case. Check the hose from the crankcase to it checking for tight fit and no leaks. I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it!
@@NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS Seems like the pump is putting out pressure I will double check thanks!
Wheres the best place to get parts for these?
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I got the rebuild kit from eBay and a carburetor from Amazon. Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it!
What was the stroke length required for the full range of movement?
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I think it was right at 3.5 inches. Not ideal but I made it work. The older bed unit I used would only push and not pull. So I used the push motion to lift the TV and gravity to drop the TV. Either way, I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it!
I soaked my glass in alcohol for about half hour and then scrubbed with a microfiber. That coating came off fairly easy that way. Thanks for your video, it eased this project along for me.
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. Yeah getting that coating off is a chore for sure. I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like. I would really appreciate it.
Very well done. I've watched a dozen videos on this repair and yours was the best for me. Thanks! Edit: after 250 hours my exmark zero turn groaned unbearably while idling-- not when blades were engaged. Replaced these idler-flat pulleys and she purrs like a kitten.
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I really appreciate you saying that and glad you found it helpful. I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it.
This is really cool

Thanks for the tip! Question for you, what's that plastic dial on top of the carb?
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I'm going to be honest, I'm not absolutely sure but I believe it's the air/ fuel mixture screw. The plastic is put onto to it to prevent someone from turning it too far in or out. Either way if you haven't done so already please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it.
Why wouldn't you have cleaned the whole roof first ? 😂
