This was really helpful! Thanks for the step by step! I will definitely be watching this again to reinstall the engine once I'm done rebuilding it.

Hi, thanks for watching and the comments. I'm happy that the video may help you out a little. Mine is still doing well. Just be careful not to use the wrong mark on the timing pulley as I did first time. I knew better than to assume. Either way, I think you may have already, but if not please consider subscribing and hitting the like button. Thanks and good luck.

@@NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS I'm in the process of rebuilding my engine, waiting on the kit of parts, there seems to be a vast difference in parts, I bought some valves that look bad, the kits are the way to go, buying piece meal is expensive, still with all I have bought it's cheaper that shipping it off and paying someone else.

I went through this in June. Wasn't bad. I'm not as strong as you. I used my engine hoist to lift out and go in.

Getting it out was not a problem. It’s getting it back in. Trying to get all 8 boots to line up was a nightmare.

Thanks for watching and the comments. I think that if the bearings are smooth and no slack in them, keep using them. Thanks again.

I was actually shocked how easy mine was to get off. I was sweating the bolts breaking, but they came right out. I also saw your comment about PB Blaster. Good advise there. Thanks again and let me know how your rebuild goes.
