😢i can't unlock the moisture.
Hi Dicki I love your products. No wonder Google says your no suds cleansing cream is the best. I totally agree. My hair is flushing from your tips. l never thought I would ever say love wash and go not afraid to wet my hair anymore lol
Same here
is it still ok for color treated and relaxed hair if you apply leave conditioner, and a swim cap to swim in a chlorine/ pool?
Mixing apples and oranges. Ocean salt water, pool chlorine? 😂
❤
I was fighting you on your advice. On wetting my hair every day. As a child, lucky if I got it wet once a month. So much hair and took an entire day. Not lying. Not including the air drying. It retains moisture and is normal porosity. Wets fine. You said use as much conditioner as hair. I was nowhere in that ball park of usage. I'm wetting regularly but not drenched wet every day, afraid of water fatigue. The conditioner goes on damp or wet hair, every day. I've noticed a change !!!!! One: length, it grows anyway, not surprising. Two: Texture a lot more manageable when dry. Three: Vibrancy, she looks good. Four: A lot more manageable and consistent.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 thank you!!!!
Thanks for specifically answering my question...so appreciated 🎉
Great information! Could you please review the unbrush?
Does this mean you should put on a swim cap after braising the hair?
The proof is in the results. And I definitely see it here. I’ve been gathering information about this man and the method, the philosophy and science behind it, and listening to the many testimonials of women here on KZread that swear by it. This makes so much sense! Just like when my hair was relaxed, I’m at a point on this natural hair journey where my growth has slowed down, and I think it’s due to dryness. EVERYTHING I’ve been doing has been wrong. I’m starting this method TODAY.🔥
Long hair is not my goal. I keep my hair fairly short. I cowash as often as I feel like. I cowash at least every 3-4 days I only shampoo when my hair feels coated or waxy. And even then, I dilute my shampoo. So I shampoo my hair as little as possible sometimes it weekly other times every 2 weeks. I avoid heavy products, so I don't have build-up. I wanna try stretching out shqmpooa to even less frequently. I have no scalp issues neither do I battle tangles and single strand knots. I put it down to cowashing frequently. If I stretch out cowashing, there are more tangles. So its the Dickey way or no way fo my way for me.
I love him. Wisdom and common sense in action. (But this type common sense isn't common anymore, I guess....We can complicate the most simple things!😂😂😂 Lawd-ham-mercy!)
Great tip!
I miss this era
I love your advice about the sea. It is amazing. I've always thought of the sea as a destroyer of my hair, but now I know better from you. I love your advice Mr. Dickie. As soon as I can I will hit the USA and hit your go straight to your salon.
I AM LOCKED TO MY THIGHS AND LOVE IT. NO COMBS, BRUSHES, NO STRAIGHTENING, NO STRESS, PTSD, WASH AND GO! If I swim evert day must wash every day. Co wash is great for that.
Such sage advice ❤
My hair always looks amazing after being in the sea. I just spray in some leave in conditioner when i get out so it doesn't mat
Oohh...cashmere ❤
❤❤
What kind of oil?
Coconut oil, olive oil, even
@@EG-hw8re thanks.
Yes all about the slip.
Good to know
This shows up as I’m getting ready to swim at my pool… how do they know? They know.
Plats! Sound southern old school. My childhood days in South Mississippi 😅😅😅
How much oil??
The video says 1/4 cup. 🤷♀️🤷♀️
@@gamgamdabest8327 seems like a lot!
He literally says 1/4 cup or capful.
@@ajm935 I understood, you can’t tell tone in text. I thought the double ? Would infer tone as shock.
Great tip, probably especially so if hair is dyed
I tried this, and what a difference it made in my hair! Chlorine always dries it out so badly. Ladies, please understand THIS METHOD WORKS! Thank you Dickey for the tip! ❤
So pretty!🥰
Thank you for helping us understand what to do with our curls! I am excited about doing my wash n’ gos every day!! ❤️ relief 😊
I'm a natural red head, And going on a vacation very soon. What will thought water do to my hair
You’re so right! I come to believe that a 7 day wash and go is like getting a mini start on locking your hair. I truly believe that is why we have so much breaking. Wash and go equals to locks and detangling equals breaking hair!!😢
Hairrules products are sold on Amazon!!
According to Google , hair rules no suds cleansing cream is the best on the market look it up for your self
What do you think about the unbrush?
When I lived in Hawaii, my hair was always in the ocean and I had the best , healthiest hair of my life. Monoi oil (Tahitian macerated coconut oil) is amazing for beach hair days.
Aptly put.
I love this platform💛
New subscriber! I'll be in NYC in Aug I may have to stop by 😊
💯💯💯💯
i wash my sew in every week but i sit under the dryer until i know it's fully dry... never had the mildew funky hair and no scalp issues.... but it's hard to know when it dry until you really know what you're doing
I love your videos I’ve been cowashing for about 3 weeks now n what a difference ❤ Question I’m a redhead will wetting my hair n adding oil work for me in a chlorine pool? My hair always turns orange when I go in the pool!!!
Putting oil on wet hair should minimize the chlorine taking out the red undertone :)
Thank you I will try that❤
I'm so frugal, it's hard for me to even use a bunch of Aussie. I gotta get past that.
amazing as always. thank you Dickey.
I'm glad you answered my question! Can we now discuss combs? Unfortunately our community is so uneducated on what tools work for what styling techniques. Can we get into the comb! There are stylist who are using fine tooth combs to detangle type 4 hair in 2024; they are pulling out all of their clients hair.
