  I would assume that “red art games” is straight up publisher, and they have nothing to do with the developers and their decisions. i’ve been wrong before.

  3:14 yeah last minute delays / removals often happen. Red art games I feel for the game publishers but embargo / NDA is a thing and it has to be followed especially with anime manga localization staff . Looks at said ani fanbrats on twitter , Facebook and other platforms

  On paper, this game is absolute garbage..... but there's an inexplicable charm about it. It has an endearing quality that I can only articulate as "Bargain bin SEGA Dreamcast game that I feel a childlike nostalgia towards." I jokingly downloaded the demo, but my father, brother and I played it to the end... Now here I am the next morning, pining for reviews..... (Mind you, we're all adults, hence the Dreamcast nostalgia). I've never before played a game that evoked such a specific, immediate nostalgia... A definite purchase when on sale in the eShop, and will be ready for the "LET ME EXPLAIN!" conversation if anyone catches it in my Switch library.

  I'm happy to see older but well regarded titles such as Streets of Rogue get physicals; more often than not the game is complete at that point and the physical becomes the definitive way to own it. Not entirely sure on a personal level if the game is one I'll spend as much time with as some of the others but there are plenty of older titles that it would be nice to see physical releases of (even if many of them are maybe a bit on the small side, and would benefit from being part of collection carts, rather than single games)

  I wonder how the game would perform without the KZread channel, because 40k wishlists is a lot but getting only about 3k in the next fest is far less than I expected. the industry right niw is just in a bad shap

  If you can't trust Jordan, who can you trust? NDAs suck honestly. But I have a lot of appreciation for Red Art Games after the was a mishap with my preorder of Smelter and Sword of the Vagrant. Glad to see they aren't to blame.

  I bought the japanese release of Goblin Slayer with tge notion that English would be added later. If they do not add it I will not be buying the north american release. Im just over it.

  Beyond Good and Evil is one of my all time favorites,between the xbox,ps2 and Gamecube I have played and beat that game countless times back in the day. Unfortunately I no longer have any of those versions anymore so I am happy to be getting this one, definitely getting it physically.

  0:20 I could've purchased that, if they had it in NA. That one is actually a disappointment, it not being released in NA but Switch has covered lots of ground on games, maybe bandai namco couldn't afford to release it in both markets.

  The beyond G&E looks good & I'm still thinking of getting it but don't know as I never got into it when it 1st released back then so for now that is the only game in this review that has caught my eye.

  👸Heyo Jordan, if you're worried about the yellow tint that's a Vitamin B surplus, the red - well, yeah, see a doc. 😂 SaGa is the best RPG series I just can't seem to love. I appreciate what it does differently but it tends to punish my playstyle (fight everything, explore everywhere). I really shouldn't even be watching these, I can't afford to buy games right now. I have a few things trickling in, but its not like it was. I'll be here watching as long as you keep putting them out though!

  @@SwitchWatch Yeah, aside from FF Legend 2 it is the one I've gotten the deepest into, always seem to wind up versus a boss that one-shots my whole team.

  Totally understand what you're saying regarding Goblin Slayer. It speaks volumes about how much trust you've built with third parties that they're happy to explain business decisions in confidence to you. It's unfortunate, but hopefully the backlash will help reduce situations like this happening in the future.

  Stop with the physical releases. What’s the point anymore? Just take a good look at all the worthless n64 / PlayStation/ VHS/ DVD piles of CRAP people have in their houses. It needs to stop. The world has moved on. Still filling the planet with plastic crap your family is then left to get rid of when you’re dead.

  Bamco has pulled this before when Dynasty Warriors Gundam Reborn (a game that could use a rerelease or sequel since it is locked to the PS3) where only UK got a physical release. Though I find it odd, it has only had one trailer and that is it, nothing else, which has me on the cautious side for this port.
