Hope you are all ready for the weekend! To get you ready here are some of my best Open World games I have played on the Nintendo Switch. Let us and everyone know if a game should have made this list and didn't. I only recommend games I have played on our lists so if it isn't here it's usually because I have not played it myself. One of my favourite genres, I own about half of this list. Had an urge to restart Skyrim the other night (I've done over 500 hrs in the past)... Within an hour I'd found an underground lair that I'd NEVER come across before... and got bitten by a vampire (!) Just such a deep game.... Great list Juan dude

Such a fantastic game man! I must own it on like 4 platforms lol. I keep re buying the damn thing..one of those games I can play again and again!

I used to think that No Man's Sky is normal open world game. But after buying snd playing it for a few hours i changed my mind. It's massive OPEN GALAXY game! 😂

im hoping for the switch successor we get an awesome remaster of Xenoblade X since that had an open world i absolutely loved to explore and would not only love to revisit it but it also means more people can experience it.

What are the favorites over at SwitchWatch? From what I have played on the list, Skyrim is where I have sunk most of my time. I need to get my copy of the Witcher out next and maybe get my hands on Red Dead. Thanks for the great rundown.

Brilliant game now especially with all the updates!

I love GTA, but I am kinda surprised at the recommendation given the broken parts of this port.

Counting on the ambiance and the general quality, dying lights may be the best game ever.

Biomutant! Why does it never get any love? It’s a beautifully polished game and a wonderful story. Can’t say enough about it. The soundtrack is epic the battles are epic and it’s cute on top of it. classes and updating skills. It has it all.

This just reminds me of how many games I have that I still need to play or finish. One down since I did just finish Immortals Fenyx Rising.

Well… few reasons I imagine. Visually it looks awful on Switch, and is a much more noticeable downgrade than a lot of Switch ports. The gameplay is also pretty repetitive, where you’re often made to perform the same or similar tasks over and over again. The games’ shops and economy are bad; the NPCs are all bland and devoid of interesting qualities, the combat can be really easily cheesed, the Worldeater boss battles aren’t that great for a variety of reasons, it’s extremely easy to find and get stuck in broken world geometry, the story is kinda polarizing and dissonant in its tone and themes, and probably other things I’m not thinking of. And I actually liked Biomutant, but… it is deeply flawed game, especially the Switch version.

Dragons dogma the main character is arison but you say dark horizon have you actually played this game I wonder 😂

Starlink BFA was a disappointment, extremely repetitive.
