Im playing Eiyden chronicle on gamepass decent so far will pick up a switch physical at some point 👍

any information whther SaGa Emerald Beyond will have an asian physical release? the japanese one does not have english and western releases seems to be delayed indefinitely

That was my pic. Special reserve is constantly putting up more copies on eBay, it's definitely a little more pricey than usual but definitely a better price than buying from a reseller. And it was super fast shipping!

Both of the biggest releases this week being hit with localization butchery feels bad man.

I never played Thousand year door my first paper mario was the switch one I liked it. Might consider buying Thousand year door after a few unbiased reviews. If not I'll emulated the original.

It's nothing like origami king on switch. The gameplay is totally different wayyy better game this is the best Mario RPG.

Eiyuden Chronicle drags, I can’t get into it. May just replay Suikoden 2

You'd think so, but maybe he wanted the ease of someone else doing it for his earlier releases.

Can't stand on the loading screen on eiyuden. Especially when in the open world area. Escaping it also seems the same. Argh....

Honestly Jordan, in Eiyuden Chronicle 100 heroes there´s no character with delusions of being a God. I finished it completely already with the trophy confirming for me i have all heroes.. Regarding Castle Of Shikigami 2, i truly can´t recommend picking this up physically any more.

I am hoping this isn't the case for me. I played their spinoff game and enjoyed it not at all. Gameplay was uninspired and sort of lazy. Just ordered the main game though, so we'll see. If it sucks, I'm swearing off 'spiritual successor' games forever.

🌈 🌈 Despite some issues I still greatly enjoyed Eiyuden Chronicle. The switch version does crash (or at least did when I played it) A LOT when loading up the outside of the home base. Save. Often. Doesn't quite live up to Suikoden 1, 2 or 5 (or 3 really) but I liked it better than 4 or the spinoffs.

The original was 60fps, the remake is 30fps.

I still own a Gamecube copy of Paper Mario and played through that (I hated the last boss) so I'm not interested in this remake, especially with rewriting the script. Eiyuden I'd maybe get 2nd hand someday, I've seen way too much localization shenanigans that go far beyond one characters, and sadly it affects the german translation as well as it is a direct translation of the localized english script, I miss the days when I could bypass american localizer's bs by playing in german... Luckily Play-Asia allowed me to replace the game with Yohane the Parhelion: NUMAZU in the MIRAGE even though I bought it during the 3 for 100 sale (the 1st earlier this year, not the recent one) with Xuan Yuan Sword 7 and Kwaidan LE. Need to get World Brothers 2 next payday before it becomes expensive like the 1st one, which I luckily was able to get for a decent price at a regional online shop that sometimes stocks imports (I used that oppertunity to also get EDF5 for PS4 pretty cheap), I will add Panic in Sweets Land and Rainbow Cotton to that order.

Censorship of any sort is a no. Give them an inch, they'll take a mile soon afterwards

Unfortunately this is one of the few chances Paper Mario fans have to have their voices heard and prove they want more games in this vein, so it's one of those "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situations, just like Stellar Blade, Eiyuden Chronicle is a much easier skip, that said, both NoA and treehouse deserve to get sacked.
