Lately I saw the BMW XM Red Label on the Autobahn.. This car does not deserve the M letter at all It is just exaggerated and no aspect of this car is sporty Well said Mike! 🙏🏼 Greetings from Baden-Wuerttemberg 🇩🇪

Hey Mike. I stumbled upon your channel a couple of months ago by mistake and now I’m hooked. I just finished binge watching the entire Ferrari build playlist. One thing I would love to see is an entire video dedicated to the title of this one. I was very excited to see this video, but a little disappointed to find it’s actually a Q&A with very little time dedicated to what the title suggests. I haven’t scrolled back through every video you’ve ever made to see if you’ve already done something like this, so I apologise if that is the case. If not, I’m sure I’m not alone when I say a video on getting started would be a huge hit. Things like essential equipment, learning to weld and fabricate, where to find information on things like suspension geometry and so on. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Hey, I have some 8j 17s on my e36 with the same size tyre you are running , but my wheels rub the arch liner at full lock. I was wondering if you have run into this problem yourself and if you have any tips? Love from the UK

Mine do not rub. That's an issue with your wheels' offset. Spacers should help.

@@stanceworks I didn’t think they even made fuel line that wasn’t e85 compatible anymore. Ethanol turns tree based rubber into booger snot. Flexible lines combined with that particular characteristic could have been a deadly oversight.

These vibrations would probably led to some welds cracking. Why not replace some (or all) of the solid engine mounts with something a little more compliant?

While the 1970s and 1980s were BMWs best era (imho), they were still good cars worth having until about the mid 2000s. Lots of good cars in there.
