Off-road is great. You should try it. There's a lot of really cool engineering, driving technique, etc. In socal it's very popular.

@@ttt69420 I think off-roading is cool too (I live in Colorado, so it's huge here too), but it's just got a far smaller fanbase than street cars simply because there are so few areas with that kind of terrain available. If you're in a flat state, the best you can likely do is dirt roads and mud pits. Relatability will help channel views, which helps fund the build. A Ferrari time attack build may be unrealistic for most, but pretty much everything he did to that car could be adapted to any of our home garage builds in smaller ways with enough imagination.

depends on "the build" if you are building a track car and only have 1 and your build takes you out of tracking for 2yrs, then trust me the fun of the build and the burden of the costs can kill all the joy .. the struggle is real...

Mike it was rad seeing you in Vin's video helping him with the Ferrari man. Stoked for everything you doing this year brother. Be well. *Out of all the YTbers I watch, you motivate me the most. When I was a teenager in the early 2000's, I was obsessed with starting my own tuning company and I was inspiredby RE Amemiya and tuners from Japan (like what Evasive is now). I used to cut out cars from magazines and lower them (cutting out the bottom of the cars under the fenders and regluing it). Also drawing & sketching. My passion has always been cars since I could remember but I made all the wrong decisions as a younger man and never realized any of my dreams. Now I'm in my late 30's and I have so many regrets but it's not too late as long as I'm alive. So I want to take a risk and do something for myself this year regardless of how small I start. Thank you for inspiring so many of us Mike. ❤

Please do 4 wheeling content. Ever since dirt everyday ended I’ve really been missing off road videos. I would love to see you tackle an off road build. You are good at making videos, and a talented fabricator, and someone who pours creativity into every build. You really knock it out of the park every time. In the hope I see an insane, over engineered, go anywhere build from you one day, please for the love of God, start putting off roading videos out. I would watch the 350 build and videos of you taking the truck out on some trails. Keep up the excellent work! You are seriously one of the best KZread channels out there.

Hey Mike. I stumbled upon your channel a couple of months ago by mistake and now I’m hooked. I just finished binge watching the entire Ferrari build playlist. One thing I would love to see is an entire video dedicated to the title of this one. I was very excited to see this video, but a little disappointed to find it’s actually a Q&A with very little time dedicated to what the title suggests. I haven’t scrolled back through every video you’ve ever made to see if you’ve already done something like this, so I apologise if that is the case. If not, I’m sure I’m not alone when I say a video on getting started would be a huge hit. Things like essential equipment, learning to weld and fabricate, where to find information on things like suspension geometry and so on. Thanks and keep up the good work.

I absolutely love that Lego analogy... as I sit here tearing apart one Lego castle to rebuild it as another, with parts for my car sitting in the garage, waiting for decent weather. It's always about the journey, not the destination for me too. Part of the reason I love your channel so much.

I appreciate that you take the time to build a quality vehicle. Not one that only looks good from a distance. I followed the entire Ferrari build. I can't stand so called custom car builders on KZread that basically start a new project every other week, but never complete anything. They claim to complete, some projects but no rational person would agree. It's a con job. A car that can't be driven/enjoyed is pointless scrap. Why do people waste their time on those channels? KZreadrs like that don't actually care about building the car. They just care about getting clicks. I refuse to watch that garbage. If someone starts a car I want to see it finished inside and out.

I have been building and customizing vehicles as a living for 18 years now. Last year,I decided to build a complete one off car from 18gauge steel panels. It has been a lot of fun learning and occasionally failing but the truck fabrication is done and going into bodywork. If there is a young person wanting to get into this industry, look for a hotrod/custom shop in your area and hang out, help out, lend a hand and you will learn. I love this industry and can't wait to see what the future holds.

I love your videos and builds and you’ve helped inspire me to start building to acquire some skills (I have none!). I’m tearing down and doing a light resto on my Datsun 120y coupe as I figured it was simple enough to get my head around. Engine is on the floor and the bay is stripped as I clean it up to respray the bay, refresh all the suspension and steering arms and engine then get it all back together. It’s great fun and I feel the same as you about Lego so it’s cool to do this finally with a car :) As an Aussie I look forward to seeing you WTAC again - I didn’t get to see the Ferrari on track last time so fingers crossed!

That was a early favorite build of yours to me. 2: With the 308 - when it comes time to change the suspension I hope you have a lot of time. But I'm sure you know how delicate of a balance altering the suspension settings are and how you change one thing, then it effects 2 or 3 other things. 3: Personally speaking I could care less about 4x4 stuff. BUT it's your channel, do what you want to do! 4: Wish you were still out here on the east side of the mighty Mississippi so I could have a chance at seeing these cars in person again. But hey - as long as you're happy that's all that matters!
