Super like, Wow que delicioso se mira amiga, te felicito, gracias por compartir
Muchas gracias! :)
Just saw the servings. 😀 Going to cook your recipe. I usually follow my mom’s recipe since I was 10 years old but now that I have an allergy to pork, I have to make them with oil.
Ah such an honor for me to have you try out my recipe. Can you eat vegetable shortening? If so I also have a recipe for that, in case you don't like the oil version. Feel free to add more oil or shortening if you'd like. kzread.info/dash/bejne/rK2Yx5qmh8faYps.html
Hi How many tamales will this recipe make?
Anywhere from 18 to 22, depending on the size of your corn husks. Enjoy!
Thank you. I wondered if I should take them out of the water or let them dry before making.
Hi Michele! Yes you need drain them first. I talk about this at the 1:35 video mark. If you would like written instructions you can find them here mexicanmademeatless.com/how-to-prepare-corn-husks-for-tamales/
@@MexicanMadeMeatless I made them and they turned out great! TYVM
@@michelepaine8480 Yay, so happy to hear that! :)
Thank you ❤❤❤
My pleasure, enjoy!
Can these be frozen? Or will they not turn out soft? Mine always seem hard and snap 😬
Hi! With homemade flour tortillas I wouldn't recommend it because they will dry out. Unfortunately. Store-bought ones seem to hold up better maybe because of the preservatives.
My grandma used to make a caldo with potato cheese patties like this. This made me think of her. 🤍
Aw this is the best comment, thank you so much!
God bless you all and Jesus Christ loves you all!!💝💝
Many blessings to you as well.
Love this budget friendly idea AND I have all the ingredients to make it. Win - Win!
I hope you make it soon, enjoy!
Que rico!
Muchas gracias!
Oooooh that looks so yummy 😋🤤
Thank you, I hope you make some soon!
Looks lovely
Thankyou Gary!
¡Que buena pinta! En cuando haga compra las preparo ❤
Gracias y buen provecho!
Yum. I like to top mine with shredded raw cabbage, extra oregano, raw onions and some lime.
Yum! I also prefer cabbage over lettuce but the day I recorded the video the store was out. hehe.
Looks delicioso 😋
Thanks, I hope you give it a try soon.
These are phenomenal!
I couldn't agree more! 🤤
Thank you for sharing the vegan pozole recipe. It looks healthy and delicious 😋 😋 😋. God bless you🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏.
Aw thank you so much Miriam! Comments like yours is what fills my heart and fuels me to keep sharing these traditional recipes. Many blessings to you and yours! ☺️
This Was My Favorite Snack Growing Up.
Yay, that's so great to hear. It's still one of my favorites specially during the summer.
Definitely enjoyed this and would welcome it being a bit longer. Just the format was weird, I didn't mind the portrait orientation but full screen it would turn landscape with these huge white panels on the side searing my eyes out. Or was that just me?
Hi Joe! Thank you for the feedback, I will keep that in mind next time. Just bare with me because I'm still getting the hand of recording videos out of my kitchen. 😊 Have a great day!
@@MexicanMadeMeatless haha, your cooking and video skills are light years ahead of mine ;) I'm grateful for your content. I'm about to fly to cdmx next month, my first time in Spanish speaking country, looking forward to the vegan eats!
You're too kind! Enjoy your trip to CDMX, it's a mecca of vegan food.
optional add mezcal
Yes you can :)
Yes! loved it ☺ ☺
So glad! Thank you for watching.
Hell yeah let's go
☺️
Really loved seeing a little bit of your city and shopping routine!! I love stopping at little local spots whenever I travel, it really drives home the true essence of a place vs getting the tourist experience. Thanks!!
Totally agree and so happy you do this when you travel. Thank you so much for watching ☺️
beautiful city, i enjoyed seeing and hearing about campeche!
Glad you enjoyed it! Yes Campeche is really a beautiful city. Thank you for watching.
Yes!! I would love to see it all. I'd love for you to introduce yourself and explain why you're in that city as well. It's gorgeous and I'd really like to see it all.
Thank you! I definitely need to do videos on the subjects you suggested. Can't wait to keep sharing more of Campeche with you all. ☺️
I really enjoyed this video! I have never heard of Campeche, but it looks gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your trip to the market! I would love a huarache mold! I learned how to make them by hand from my Mother in Law, but a mold would make it so much easier, and faster!
Thank you! Yes Campeche isn't really on anyone's radar but it's a shame because it's such a gem. I wish I could send you a huarache mold because it really does make things so much easier. Plus if you have very small hands you can make them larger. ☺️
Yes please more videos! I’m thinking of moving to Mexico
Thank you! Where in Mexico are you thinking?
@@MexicanMadeMeatless maybe Cancun or Monterey I’m not sure but I want somewhere where I and my Family would be safe from cartels to be honest..
25 sec into the video. You could see a black shadow behind above the ceiling behind you. Passing by. 😮
Thank you and your Mother for this wonderful recipe. It is absolutely delicious and a real treat🙏
Thank you so much, I will let her know. ☺️
I'm going to make this, this weekend 😊
Enjoy and feel free to adjust the seasonings as you'd like.
just 30 seconds into this vid made me hungry. Looks so good, thank you Chef!
Thank you so much! I hope you make some salsa soon. Enjoy
😮 oh yum 😋
I hope you give it a try soon.
Cilantro makes me vomit. Every time.
Oh that's so sad!
Love it! Can the TVP just be rehydrated in the broth?
Hi! I have not tried it and feel like it won't be enough liquid, but you can experiment if you'd like.
Y. Dónde está "checa my recepi,, where's the recipe
Hola! Alli mismo en la descripción del video pero te dejo el enlace aqui tambien kzread.info/dash/bejne/e2uErtqFc7PNaJc.html
I have all
You're ready to make all sorts of Mexican dishes. :)
Love everything, but molcajete and lemon press are essentials. 🙋
Yes, I agree. :)
Where's the seasoning?
What seasoning are you referring to? In authentic Mexica refried beans the flavors come from the beans, onion and chile that some people add. We don't add other seasonings like ground cumin or spice mixes like in Tex-Mex food.
Where can I buy these tools?
Hi! At Hispanic food stores, in Mexico and on Amazon. If you go to my website I link to some.
But the gummy candies are made out of gelatin, which comes from dead animals! 😭
Not all gummy candy is made from gelatin. Lots of it made using pectin and agar agar. Keep an eye out for them where you live and read the labels. I buy them on Amazon too.
Make your own chamoy candy, it's so easy! Watch the full video for measurements.
Looks delicious 🤤 thanks for sharing
Thank you! I hope you try it soon.
Looks so delicious.wish I had some right now
I hope you give it a try, so easy to make and so yummy. Enjoy!
Gummy candies are not vegan. They contain gelatin, which is an animal sourced ingredient.
Not all gummy candies are made with gelatin. There are lots of vegan gummies available. Check what's available to you locally.

Thank you, enjoy!
No idea what masa is yet, but I'm trying! I just grilled some chicken with homemade enchilada sauce and there's a sweet Mexican grandmother on KZread who says we can even start making our own Chile powder! Anyway, y'all still can't beat my Italian meat sauce! Oh and ty!😘
Dry rub, not sauce😖
