Pay de queso is the Mexican take of traditional cheesecake. It's made a bit different and it's still creamy and decadent and a delicious dessert perfect for any fiesta.

Ingredients
1 ½ cups ground galletas Marias
½ cup walnut or pecan halves
¼ cup cacao powder
3 Tablespoons muscovado sugar
¼ teaspoon ground canela
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 sticks unsalted butter
1 pack cream cheese
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
pinch salt optional
12 oz evaporated milk Carnation
14 oz sweetened condensed milk La Lechera
4 whole eggs

Hi! It's made a bit different than the classic American cheesecake. Also the cookies used for the crust are Mexican Maria cookies. Then I also added chocolate to give it another Mexican touch. It's quite delicious. I hope you give it a try.
