Nice throw! Too bad he played his career in a running offense.

McMahon was so clutch I think he deserves a spot just for that. How many qbs have consistently delivered when the game was on the line. Dude put his body through hell and back.

Belichick’s biggest mistake in Cleveland was releasing Kosar 2 years after this game. This game was part of what made Belichick offer McMahon a roster spot.

Something is missing from this video: all of the passes that barely travel past the line of scrimmage & checkdowns that makes today’s football unwatchable!😂. Thank you sharing this great video. 👍

It is too bad the stupid music completely blocks out the announcers. I would love to hear what they are saying. McMahon's legacy was that he would win at any cost. Still and always a Chicago legend. He lead us to the promised land.

Excellent video! Putting the dates on some of the throws is much appreciated. It helps the viewer have some context. IMHO Jim McMahon was severely underrated as a QB. Accurate, even when rolling to his left, sold the play action, threw receivers open, SMART, reckless w/his body which is the reason he was on multiple teams but always courageous in the moment. Unfortunately for NFL teams QB availability is as important as QB ability. Thank you for an excellent video.

I remember watching this game as if i watched it yesterday . Like most people, i said the game is over they will never come back to win the game . And was i wrong I was in the 8th .grad . I had some friends from school over to watch the game . We were all screming like crazy . My mom had to leave the house because we were all being so loud And when my Dad came home, he was in the basement yealling with all of us . Good times i wouldnt change anything about them . Kids nowadays dont know what it's like to be a kid like we knew it . You see a group of kids riding bikes together it looks strange because you really see it nowadays . When i was a kid, we rode our bikes everywhere. You go by parks nowadays, they are empty . Kids can't be kids now a days because of all the sick people in our country About fifteen years ago i was driving down a side road, and there was this little girl walking in the street she could have been more than three years old . I was going to turn my pickup around and ask her if she needed any help . Then i thought to myself, what if someone thought i was trying to pick her up or she told her mom and dad this guy in this truck turned around and was asking me if i was ok and . So i keeped driving you know we live in some bad times when you are scared to ask a child if she is ok and if she needs help . What a f up country we live in nowadays . The Democrats are trying to destroy our country, and they are doing a good job doing so . You have college kids yealling Death to America, something i thought i would never hear We have Democrats in the senate who hate our country and will do whatever they can to destroy our country . We have millions of illegal immigrants pouring into our country . With the blessing of Joe Biden, ten million illegal immigrants have invaded our country with more on the way As long as Joe Biden is president, they will keep invading our country . Our country is the only country with an open border. Who exactly is coming into our country . Did any tarrist simply walk into our country . How about child molesters how many out of the ten million have a history of being a child molester

Eagles were 8-3 with McMahon really 9-3 because he played 3 1/2 quarters week 1 when Randall went down. And 2-3 really 1-3 without him! They would’ve easily made the playoffs. And possibly some noise in the postseason?if If he starts the entire season! But thats the story of his career!

If Charles Martin doesn't do what he did the bears win 2 or 3 super bowls easily.Jim was great in that era of football. He was 3-0 vs the niners leading up to the 1988 championship game. The offense couldn't get going and I believe Tomczach could've beat them. But it's a ton of what ifs. While ditka and buddy feuding Walsh, parcells, and Gibbs where winning super bowls
