McMahon was such a great QB who played the position fearlessly. It wasn’t about winning a string of games for him. It was about winning THAT game. The man got the snot knocked out of him every week from the time he was in college. He suffered over 100 concussions in his life then people wonder why his personality was always off. Lol He played with zero fear of what could happen to him. Warrior.

Jim McMahon was so great his numbers may not show it but either did elways.. he was a winner. He could read a defense and he even taught the coaches a few things. He won 25 straight games only to lose in Denver against John elway the score was like 31 to 28 but McMahon passed for like 500yrds I think . Truly amazing. He went 4 n 1 vrs Joe Montana beat Brett farve with a 4th qtr comeback. If he played in the 60s with Vince Lombardi he would have won championship after championship.. Vince would have loved his guts and smarts

McMahon was so awesome. I saw his last inter-squad scrimmage at Bears training-camp a few days before he was traded and we started to burn through QB’s
