    Hello! My name is Annette. I want to know what kind of fixed knife is best for bushcraft and survival that's full tang and can take a beating! I love watching bushcraft and survival videos! So I'm starting to prep and learn more but I want a good knife so thought I would ask! Thank you !!

    You did just what I expected. Using a thin strip of spring steel to escape handcuffs is an old escape artist trick, and I knew tweezers were included in SARs.

    Always burn plastic so you can get lung cancer.

  • @user-li5xn6sm9q

    Dont tell people to burn plastic in the woods. If you have a lighter you dont need wood shavings or plastic shavings or anything. Dry moss and dead reeds work better and dont just melt into the ground forever.

    Its another option, I'd rather have 5 decent options then 1 bad one like moss when it's been raining for 2 weeks straight

    Please explain the antenna from a spoon.

  • @RangerSurvivalandFieldCraft
    @RangerSurvivalandFieldCraft5 сағат бұрын

    The spoons can be used as insulators to prevent the loss of signal through contact with other materials. It requires additional materials like claymore wire to complete as well as a frame or suspension from trees but that’s basically it. I hope that helps.

    Awesome! I did not realize how much land nav/compass stuff I had forgotten. I'd better brush up as I live remotely. I don't need it close to home, but if I have to bugger off or go deep bush... Thanks from retired Veteran here in Alberta, Canada.

    A caution and a tip for you to consider: tip - always use a harp (bow) with that POS wire saw. Those split rings are not actually for handles, but can be used as such. Caution - Otherwise its life expectancy is about 2 minutes, in part due to the extreme heat that is developed. There are superior types out there and I recommend swapping it out for a better one. Cheers from a survival specialist and 26-year Veteran up here in Alberta, Canada..
