  If ash went ahead and evolved his pignite to emboar and quilava into is hisuian version and mega evolved his Charizard to x he could have easily become the anime’s greatest fire trainer or a fire gym leader

  If I could rewrite Ash's full adventure I'd have him use 3 Pokemon from the region and 3 in reserve. It wouldn't do a soft seasonal reset and the time between regions and using his reserves gives plenty of chances to flesh out his roster like it's fine that Tortera lost and got pushed to the wayside by infernape have him come back in other regions to give him an ongoing arc etc

  Darkrai was an absolute menace catching bodies left and right and Sceptile getting the W against it showed how strong he was. If any other of Ash's pokemon could bond evolve like Greninja it would be Sceptile for me it just kinda fits an aesthetic for a fully evolved warrior type pokemon

  Lucario is my favourite Pokémon and Ash’s Lucario is one of my 5 favourites of his. Plus, the plot armour stuff is worn out in my opinion.

  i would let croagunk be a croagunk as croagunk wouldn’t want to evolve (due to its rivalry for its evolution.) geodude to become graveler and include forretress over ninetales. Other then that i would say these are some solid choices!
