It's not underrated you got a lot of credit could it train did a little bit more

Leavanny (like most of Ash's Unova Pokemon that weren't starters or Pikachu) suffered greatly from there being way too many members on the team and he was constantly fighting for the two leftover spots not taken up by the 4 Pokemon I mentioned. He had a really fun battle style I especially with the use of String shot and I would've liked to see more of it but alas it's appearances were few and far between.

Leavanny suffered a fate similar to Ash’s other unova reserves that it had lots of potential that was wasted due to lack of appearances but I think Leavanny showed the most promise out of all of them. I love seeing it grow and mature. It took me back to caterpie/butterfree.

It was nice that Leavanny was actually a strong battler; he just lacked focus

While not Ash’s most memorable Pokémon, you have to admire his caretaking personality. I really like the way it cared for Rowlet.

String Shot really pushed Ash's creativity.

Ash’s Unova era isn’t remembered fondly, but Leavanny is easily one of the best Pokémon he had. It’s all personality for me.

Also one of the rare bug types that Misty wasn’t afraid of

One of Ashs most underrated mons. Great personality, strong battler, excellent focus eps. In a way he reminds me of kingler, a reserve who quickly became an Ace up Ashs sleeve

Likewise, I love String Shot in the show. It's one of the coolest moves, due to its Spiderman-like use imo. I've thought about doing a whole video on String Shot, but I'm worried noone will want to watch itt haha

I loved seeing Leavanny again during Misty’s return episode. He got a conclusion to his story, something not all of Ash’s pokemon got!

Swaddle likely didn’t trust ash because he viewed ash trying to befriend it an attempt to catch him thus sewaddle remained distant until ash showed he truely cared for it and not just wanting it to be another member of his team.

Honestly Leavanny I've always really liked it. Back when Black, and White first came out I remember while I was in middle school a lot of my Male Classmate were making fun of me for having such a "Girly" Pokemon on my team/liking such a "Girly" Pokemon. Then next week I swept their whole Team with Leavanny, I founded out years later that Leavanny has perfect Atk, and Spd IVs, then it's Atk, and Spd EVs were Maxed out. And it had Sword Dances, Honestly I still thinks it's amazing that it learns Sword Dance from Level Up. It's like Game Freaks way of rewarding the Player for sticking with it.

This is the reason why I always find and get Leavanny (Sewaddle) for my team up until post game if it's available in game. It's so underrated. I wish the Sewaddle line makes a comeback in Gen 9 DLCs.

Great Video Professor. I really do feel like Levanny was probably one of Ash's strongest members of his Unova team, next to Krookodile and Pignite. Really felt it needed more screen time and it could've been used in more Gym battles. Mainly against Clay and Elesa.

By far Ash's most underrated Pokemon (and you can quote me on that!). Whenever people talk about the Unova team, it's always "Krookodile and his band of merry morons" (for understandable reasons, even if I don't fully agree), but Leavanny should also be an exception. The Stephan battle was the only time he didn't get a win in a battle, which is almost unheard of from Ash's 'mons!

Ash's Leavanny proved that Bug Types are strong too.

I remember really likeing ash's leavanny as a kid and i think he's why i have such a soft spot for that evo line, he was group dad of the team which was so wholesome and him making hoods for other pokemon is a cherry on top it's so sweet.

Loved how Leavanny made leaf clothes for all of them! Was so adorable!

I can picture it facing off against a Kricketune. When it returned in Journey's, I was hoping it would've learned Signal Beam. Can you do Ash's Noivern next please?

I love leavanny one of my favorite grass type Pokémon. Leavanny is a sweetheart and especially watching over Rowlet while he sleeps and holding him like a baby. Keep up the success on your channel Professor.

I actually like Ash's Leavanny. It was his first (and only) bug type since Heracross in the original series, if the Beedrill he caught doesn't count. Unfortunately, he did get the "Unova Treatment", and got sent to the lab quite often, just due to the sheer number of mons Ash caught in Unova. It's quite a shame, because if we had a team like Palpitoad (who could've potentially evolved into Seismitoad), Krookodile, and Leavanny, Ash's team could've been in real powerful standing.

i just realised, you missed leaf storm on the moveset section of the video, you probably didn't see but when ash's masters 8 team was training with his old pokemon, leavanny can be seen with ash's pokemon using leaf storm, it was quite a surprise but ill accept it anyway

1 of Coolest Pokemon Specially the way he dodged sawk punches while dancing is most epic

Oh I loved Leavanny. It was so elegant and graceful even in battle. At first I thought it was a female cause of how they sounded but after seeing him get inflicted by Emolga’s attract, I realized it was a male. The last battle Leavanny did was at the Unova League where they battled against Stefan’s Sawk. I must say it was good with speed from how it dodged Sawk’s close combat. It was Ash’s strongest bug type. The moves they used were string shot, energy ball, razor leaf and x scissor.

Another excellent video I’m hoping to see James Weezing and Jessie’s Arbok

Leavanny (Hahakomori) was one of the few pokemon I like in Unova. He had a lot of potential and yeah he suffered a lot like other Ash's pokemon in Unova

I love to say I'm officially a Leavanny Pokemon fan, appearance of the strength and abilities like to me as never seen before. 😊

Leavanny is a pretty solid Pokémon, especially by Unova standards.

Such an underrated king this amazing bug is 🫡 Always wished he got more screen time (esp. as a Swaddle and Swadloon) - imagine the lil’ dude had a a slight rebellious phase as a Swaddle, an edgy teen phase as a Swadloon and maturing as time went on alongside perfecting his sewing skills after helping w/ Luke’s film, and having an episode dedicated to Ash and Swadloon bonding, evolving, and then we see more of Leavanny’s growth in the Durant episode.

When I journeyed in unova I also had a leavanny all the way to my final team, leavanny was such a good bug pokemon 🥰

leavanny is honestly my favourite grass type Pokemon it's really underrated 🌟❤

I've almost forgot about Leavanny's pre-evolved era but that's because I was in and out with the BW anime, but after a little rewatch i love the guy and his fight with Stephany I mean Stephan 😅 was a good show although it sadly lost. 6:47 oof poor Leavs gonna need a burn heal for that. I love leavanny as a Pokémon I even used on on my own team playing Pokémon black since I didn’t pick snivy as my starter leavanny was my go to grass type Pokémon in the black and white games. Also ashs leavanny deserved more time to shine but the writters thought it was easier to work with snivy mainly for her personality and leavanny was stuck in snivys shadow for most of unova.

Dang, I knew keavanny didn't appear super often but I thought he had more battles than that! To bad we didn't see more because he was fun to watch, all his battles were cool and the personality was good (agree on the voice though!)

Leavanny appearing again in Aim To Be A Pokémon Master was nice to see where Misty was not afraid

Funny enough, I actually went through playing Pokemon White/White 2 with a Leavanny on my team. And I've been using a bug type on my teams in games ever since.

Levanny is one of 3 of my favourite Pokémon of Ash’s Unova Pokémon

I always loved leavanny even though its appearance are very scarce and far between. Something about that pokemon (maybe its fabulous design) made me adore it even before it being very motherly. I'm shocked to find out that leavanny was a male.

As a kid he was my favourite Pokemon from Ash's Unova team

Again, can you please do a video on either May's Wartortle or May's Venusaur?

One thing I like about Leavanny is it acted like a loving and caring mother no matter what it has been through, it will still be there to help those pokemon

Ash's second best Unovan mon... yeah... you heard me. Krookodile reigns supreme but man does that Bug Grass get better treatment than... Snivy. I'm so depressed by this. Sewaddle feels like they needed some more episodes with Scraggy due to how similar they were at first (though not much episodes were given out due to the switching party motive for Gen 5).

I think Ash’s Leavanny was cool and it is his only Bug type that won a Gym battle and it seams that the Anime had finally figured out to handle Ash’s Bugs types as Butterfree did not her significant before it left and Heracross was left at The Lab for. The majority of Ash’s Johto Journey and only did something at the league and from being brought back in The Battle Frontier and The Sinnoh League and I wish Ash got more bug types to make his later teams more diverse than just prepetting Types like Snom as it evolved into Frosmoth from Friendship making it a good pick for Ash’s and do Snivy next.

It's a little sad that in all those battles he contributed the most (vs Burgh, vs Roxie, vs Stephan), Ash's Leavanny wasn't the last one standing, taking away his momentary spotlight.

I love Leavanny witch great passion. I think that if it wern't from him spamming X-sissor he could have won against Sawk.

Such and underrated mon. Honestly it was the start of my favorite part of the unova saga. Ash was actually catching Pokémon for the sake of capturing and training I loved the episode in which it was caught I wish he did this more just with better writing balance but alas ash is gone 😭😭

It did all the work against sawk It was the main reason why he beat Stephan It should have been his only grass type in.unova and that way it would have got more screentime And iris should have got snivy it suits her more tbh especially personalitiwise
