  used both heavily and recently switched back to illustrator and I'm thinking the switch won't be permanent: the UX is just not as good as AD and illustrator seems to export "uglier" assets

  I'm considering Affinity for my work. I love Adobe, but the problem I have with the plans they offer is 'one app is $23/month' but at some point I need another app and then it's like they have a Black Friday deal for $32.75/month annual plan ($59.99 regular) for a year for the whole suite...So I go with that, AGAIN....Only not to use all the apps. It's a deal and a waste at the same time. I decide to finally leave them, but then they say "since you've been with us so long, we'll give you 2 months free"....It makes me feel pressured. I want to stop using them for like 4 years haha

  It doesn't matter what I do - the background won't delete. I can select it all day long. Pressed delete. Nothing. Pressed edit --> cut nothing. Absolutely nothing works. I have no fucking clue why but I have now wasted over an hour of my fucking life trying to delete a plain white background that won't go away. I'm so infuriated.
