How To Slice Objects In Affinity Designer
In this tutorial I'll be demonstrating how to use Affinity Designer to cut a shape, object, or even text. This is accomplished using the Knife Tool, which was introduced last year in the release of version 2.0.

Absolutely brilliant tutorial
Like that looks good
Noice. FYI this can be achieved in a non-destructive way by having two identical text layers inside two distinct clipping masks!

Exactly what I was going to say. With fonts still intact as well, using a gradient overlay effect for the shading effect.
Love IT
It would be awesome if I would actually have the "knife" tool, which I don't. Nice tutorial anyway!
Nick my window doesn't show the cutting tool, and I have "Designer 2.0”.
