    Wow. Really cool card for round 1. JK, OHN, Missy, and Elie. What an interesting card. I'm pumped. Always a treat to watch JK play, OHN is my favorite, how can you not love Missy, and Elie just has the highest ceiling you could imagine. Elie hasn't done quite as well as I thought she would this year but she actually seems to thrive when in the spotlight and she hasn't been on any feature cards this year as far as I know. I was at throw pink and she just got better the more people were watching and the more cameras. We'll see tomorrow.

    Drew, I have only played in 2 tournaments so far. But one thing I have noticed is that they do not sweep off the tee pads before an event. Maybe the DGPT does? But I finished a practice round yesterday in preparation for a tournament coming up on the 20th, and noticed that there is always some kind of debris ( pebbles / dirt...leaves / etc ) on the tee pads. I wonder does anyone manufacture a telescoping broom that can be carried in your bag to sweep off the tee pads with???

    She looks great at her age. She has the skills to win a pro tour event. I really would love to see that happen this year. Having that "killer" competitive instinct helps wins manifest and with her just happy to have a top 10 finish it's just not there in her. Tons of top professional athletes use visualization. If you don't see your self winning and never do then maybe try something different. The mental game at this level is the most important part.

    Juliana, would you recommend that a young girl start out in disc golf by throwing max-weight discs, or go with some light-weight discs that they can throw farther?

  • @StuG-pr9tf
    @StuG-pr9tfКүн бұрын

    you should throw whatever you are comfortable throwing. I am 61 years old and just started playing 2-3 years ago. I started throwing stuff that was at least 175 gram to 180 gram. Then realized that I can throw lighter stuff a bit farther. I just bought my first 140 gram ( 149 actually) a Innova Halo Leopard 3 fairway driver. I use a latitude 64 River / Maul off the tee mostly. Learn how to throw slower discs. putters + mid-ranges...and go to the practice field and practice...and putting also. I can only throw about 240-250 off the tee, but I am a good putter....being a good putter will really elevate your game if you want to play tournaments especially
