But i did because my patients are from low economic backgrounds and mostly willing for extraction I have to convince them to save teeth. Good restoration really works😊..

I barely use zirconia. Even the weakest porcelains which are Feldspathic have a higher strength than tooth enamel, so it’s usually always Feldspathic or Milled E.max in my practice. In a quest to find stronger materials, the biomimetic principle was violated with zirconia and I believe it’s overkill. Of course it has its rare indications. With good IDS procedure, the bond strength to Emax is amazing, the tooth mechanically behaves the way it’s supposed to. Biomimetics is the present and future! ❤

I love this option, there are some amazing milled composite blocks that can easily reduce the shrinkage stresses when used for partial coverage restorations. I do both semi direct and semi indirect composite for economy without compromising on biomimetics.

I have a doubt about crown clearance sir. 1. What is the minimum occusal clearance needed for zirconia and what is the minimum clearance need for metal? 2. Is the metal and zirconia have same minimum clearance in functional, non functional cusp and grooves? 3. For patent with minimum clearance which would be best metal or zirconia?
