3 Reasons why Light Cure Cement is my Choice for Laminate Bonding
I believe in leaving no stone unturned.
Here i am answering a common question as to why use light cure resin cement instead of Dual cure for laminate and veneers?
Pros of using LCC (RelyX veneer cement 3M):
1. Unlimited working time for multiple restorations
2. Command cure: Start polymerization when ready
3. Greater Bond strength
4. Stability of shade
5. Easy penetrations of light due to thin Laminate shells
6. Available in single syringe form
Cons of Dual cure cement:
1. Less working time
2. Fast setting
3. Difficulty during retrieval of excess cement
4. Bond strength is comparatively less
5. Change in shade due to hydrolysis.
6. Mix the base and catalyst after dispensing
