A tip, trick and hint to correct your temps.
I am a big believer in restoring gingival health, and I always try my best to do whatever it takes to ensure the gingiva is prime and healthy at the time of cementation for my definitive restorations...
Here is a bid towards this end goal by paying tribute to the provisionals that hold fort till the final crowns are ready for insertion...

Here is the protocol:
👉 First I used 3M Filtek Supreme Flow to add to the area where the resin was deficient... The provisional was made using Bis-acryl (Protemp 4 from 3M).
👉 Following this, I have used my regular protocol for finishing and polishing, which involves coarse Sof-lex disc, Beige spiral and Purple rubberized spiral (in this sequence).
👉 I have stained using Color Paint On by Coltene for better esthetics... Just getting creative here, as otherwise dentistry can get monotonist.
👉 I then proceeded with cementation using Eugenol free zinc oxide cement (Freegenol from GC)
👉 I then checked for proper occlusion with TROLL foil blue- 8 Micron.
👉 For this case, I used monolithic Zirconia crowns as my material of choice for the final restorations.
👉 For proper marginal fit and seal, I love to use RMGIC (Relyx Lute2 from 3M).
👉 Ending shot shows the final restorations ready to serve the patient for years. The gingiva is healthy with no bleeding on probing and a flush Restoration margin.
Remember, you are never far from attaining gingiva that looks nice and healthy... All it takes is commitment!
