U are right. The creation of this state may have been a mistake. I truly believe it may have been done to continually create war into perpetuity !! US uses them to keep control re Oil. Better solutions to help Jews after WW2 were not looked at in my opinion. This war needs to be stopped.

You're missing the point. Hamas and Israel both refuse to pursue a two-state solution, or indeed any resolution. They are on the same page in that regard. They both believe fervently in 'From the River To the Sea'. Their goal is to obliterate their adversary, which is a fantasy that cannot be achieved without an extermination policy. There are individuals in Hamas and in the Israeli regimes that would embrace this if it was possible. Netanyahu himself brought up 'Amalek' which is a clear nod to extermination. So to make clear: Hamas staged a pogrom as deliberate provocation, knowing that the Israeli response would be utter blood-lust. They knew just the right button to push. On their part Israel was asleep at the wheel because the IDF was in the West Bank patrolling and protecting illegal settlements, as well as issuing settlers semi-automatic weapons. They didn't pay any attention to Gaza, and couldn't get over there for eight hours. So both their motivations are to 'expose' the other as beasts that can't be reasoned with. And they succeeded, but the Palestinians are the losers. Israel doesn't care about Palestinian lives, and neither does Hamas. It's been tit-for-tat since the 1920's when Haganah was first formed supposedly for 'defense' purposes. I don't think jumping on Packman doesn't gets you anywhere conceptually but it makes you feel righteous. That's obvious. If Israel wanted to kill every Palestinian (20% are Israeli citizens,) that would have been accomplished already. They have the means.
Personnaly IDGAF about how/why Israel exists, all I care about is that they behave and treat others like descent human beings... Very interesting tho 😆

David is one of my favorite KZreadrs and has been for years. I have noticed that he’s been pretty mum on this subject and I think you make several good points here. He should engage more qualified people on this topic rather than doing the equivalent of Ben Shapiro ‘destroying’ college kids.

They would identify people who were being "problematic" (i.e. doing civil rights work) and put them on lists, to ensure they wouldn't be employed. Same as the folks now who are trying to identify protestors and put them on lists to keep them from being employed.
