Basically, their incredible wealth makes the entire planet a slightly more complex real life Monopoly game for them ....and them only to play. ive been saying this for years but no one seems to listen... the American government & media has always used the word FREEDOM to mean 2 things.. all the voters think it means freedom of speech, freedom to lead the lives we want to, freedom from oppression. What the oligarchs & politicians mean by FREEDOM is freedom to profit. Freedom to destroy the environment, freedom to pollute, freedom to underpay workers, freedom to enslave other nations, freedom to do wars, freedom to kill people around the world, freedom to steal taxpayers money etc etc

  • @coolioso808

    @coolioso808

    Ай бұрын

    It would blow anybody's mind to find out the truth behind the origins of money, I know many won't believe it, but if you believe you live in a world of ruling elites that lie to the masses to keep control, then maybe you can believe that money was forced upon humanity thousands of years ago by the priest-kings in Africa as a means of enslavement. See Michael Tellinger's book "Ubuntu Contributionism" for details on that, and he has some videos on KZread about it too. Money is debt, debt is slavery and all of that is really a human fiction that we've made real by the acceptance that money must rule our lives to access goods and services. Do not forget: Money does nothing. People do everything. At the end of the day, money isn't food, it isn't electricity, it isn't healthcare, it isn't housing (well, it would be crappy housing, if attempted). People do everything. Why not build a society based around the value of each person's contribution to their community? Like we used to do, 12,000+ years ago during our egalitarian hunter-gatherer days. We are mostly settled in towns and cities now, but we can adopt an egalitarian structure to our modern lives. There are tools to do it, like One Small Town initiative or what is coming from academics like Jason Hickel with Less is More and ecosocialism.

    I keep trying to make the point that some people use the word ‘predatory’ in connection with capitalism to create the illusion that there’s a form of capitalism that isn’t inherently predatory; but in fact, capitalism doesn’t even work without the opportunity for exploitation, which is the very nature of the predator: to take advantage of, exploit or prey upon the disadvantaged, the disabled, and the financially or otherwise vulnerably handicapped. This is the reason that what the United States calls competition is rightly perceived by China as confrontation. Rightly or wrongly, it certainly is NOT, nor can it be seen as an effort at cooperation. The capitalist system depends on a growing economy (or profit expansion) to work properly, but the banking system is based on the creation of debt which gets back to the predatory nature of capitalism. The greedier, the more predatory.

Laugh laugh laugh or tremble tremble tremble. I opt for laughter as often as possible. Bill Hicks said it best. “It’s just a ride.” That’s not to say that life is just a trip from the maternity ward to the crematorium as much as we can cling onto the ride white knuckling as we go or we can let go, throw our hands up into the sky and enjoy the thrill of being on the ride ((while it lasts)). Gratitude is sorely missing from life today. I’m glad to be here, shitty as it may be from time to time.

    You're not talking about a problem that's limited to the elite class, Lee. You're talking about fundamental human nature as social life-forms for which the struggle for social-economic-status (power, ability to control energy and resources) is the central struggle for virtually all of our behavior. Just ask: "How many of those in the sub-elite class can honestly deny that they want to be members of the elite?" To a large degree, the American dream, and the dream of other nations' people as well, is precisely that...the belief that they have a chance to become part of the elite class. It is when this dream is lost, hope is lost of ever attaining it, that things really begin to fall apart in a society. America happens to be (due mostly to geographical factors) the nation where this dream has stayed alive, and been more possible to attain than in most nations, for a couple of centuries. That is the only thing that has prevented the people from rising up against the oligarchy...believing they might be a part of it themselves someday.

    Lee, are you aware that comment sections for channels like yours are subject to incredibly tight censorship? We can not use combinations of very normal words here. For example, simple stuff like asking "when is the r3v0lut10n?" Gets removed almost immediately when typed in normal letters. You should do some testing and a video about that, because it's getting quite ridiculous and scary if you realize the amount of countervoices that get silenced on a daily basis. I do a lot of edits on my posts and in almost 50% of cases they're already gone when I hit Post. Not using profanity, no h4t3spe3ch, just using regular words, like describing what happens in Gz can even get your comments blocked for 24hrs.. I'm quite amazed that nobody spends any attention on that tbh. (Good chance this gets removed as well if I do not adjust certain words)

    The author of article states "The poor have schools that are underfunded and the rich are unwilling to pay the taxes to keep them well funded." This is incorrect. Congress issues new currency every time it spends. We actually don't need the rich to maintain a robust public sector. We just need less privatization, which has led to fascism.

    Only too true, and thank you for going after it so relentlessly... The U.S. public is less and less prepared to stand up to this oligarchy, being isolated, ill-informed, and having abandoned its best values of education, enlightenment, travel, curiosity about the larger world, etc., etc. -- in favor of the material "bill of goods" sold by the oligarchy, such as getting a good job is the highest ambition in life -- indeed, so it may be in a society which has no social values, safety nets, sense of responsibility for all of us... Life -- elsewhere -- is so much more than that, and people are so much better prepared to assert themselves and their best true interests.

    *9/!! Truth* President G.H.W.B. was a director of the C.I.A. and installed Yeltsin; a regime change that enabled the purchase of Soviet industries by US using the $250 billion dollar Hammer Fund. 20 Hammer Fund Whistle Blowers died in L. Paul Bremer's "Office of Risk Management" for Marsh and McLennan during a teleconferenced meeting at 8:30 AM to present evidence of financial crimes prior to the Hammer Funds review protocols scheduled to begin on 9/12 the following day. However those review protocols were suspended by the Federal Reserve on 9/12 because of the economic chaos created by the destruction which also included the offices of Euro Brokers and Cantor Fitzgerald.

    Brilliant show! insightful. Yep capitalism is destroying us. The sheer lunacy of it all, that a tiny group of individuals have us dance to their tune. Over the cliff we go pied piper style. Voting for either of the two big parties, is just endorsing fascism. American fascism.

    ^ This. Democracy is not voting for either of the state approved parties, owned by the same donors, every few years. That's a farce and it's amazing that people still believe this fairy tale.
