It is a sober bi-partisan realization that you can win elections relying on voting idiots, the type of people who can be conditioned to root what they perceive as "our team". In USA, political capital is created by increasing the ranks of properly conditioned people and monetized by getting political donations, speaking fees, consulting fees, cushy jobs (no-work company board memberships are best, you can have many at the same time) etc. Of course, there is some balance, limits how far you can go with conditioning and "monetizability". Right now, the young ones seem to be the least conditioned, perhaps they just did not pay attention to "messaging" while in K-12.

The question about Toni Blinken is how much he's taking under the table via the shadowy influence-peddling firm, WestExec that he started in 2017. Blinken categorized his operation as a "strategic consultant" so that he would not have to file a list of his donors. Toni will reap a fortune for his participation in continuing the war in Ukraine that has only resulted in half a million Ukrainian dead, as well as his participation in continuing the horrific antisemitic genocide in Gaza.
