Not that I'm against public protests, but what we really need are more people leaking internal discussions/algorithms etc. Frankly, these are just about as important as government policy, considering how close the leadership of social media compares are to the US govt and how they are gatekeepers to the 'truth.'

I can boycott Amazon, at least for now, but I can hardly boycott Google. This is the world created by the US tech corporations. We are forced in to complicity with evil.

Who says you cannot stop using Goo gle services? There ARE many alternatives out there if you care to look into it. Just cos they may have been one of the first search engines doesn't mean they will be around forever, remember MySpace, AOL, etc. If they support Bad people or nations, good people and nations will stop supporting them. Kudos to that young fellow standing up for peace in that meeting. Real courage on display.

You can boycott Google in a few ways. Switch from Chrome to another browser, switch from Gmail, use free ad blockers on KZread so they lose ad revenue. Don't click on any google ads that is how they make money

The PBD podcast did this same story, only they had a pretty horrible take on the situation (as usual). :(
