Though solar is not for everyone. The battery cost more than regular non solar powered watches and most people usually wear them indoors

Not surprised to see a couple 6900's in the top 10...I love my GW6900 as an everyday watch, the fit is perfect on my larger wrists where the G-Shock squares always seemed a bit small plus the 6900 has an iconic G-Shock look that has made multiple appearances in shows & movies. I just wish Casio would make more colorways for the GW6900 instead of always making the new colors and limited editions for the DW6900, not having at least tough solar and preferably multiband 6 as well is a deal breaker for me.

It looks like my favorites are not on this list I have the GBD 200 only, it's OK but lately I'm oriented towards the more feature packed ones, like the mudman, rangeman, and mudmasters. Recently I bought the GW - 5000U square, which is a great watch, properly designed, with quality materials. The casioak is my least used one, I always prefer a square g-shock. But what can you do, this is the best selling list.

Oh Yeah baby....this is like 101.5FM Kqbh weekly top list. 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀 that #26 square should be a #2 forever by the listeners, not #26 (5600U is #1), I agree with that, 5610 is one of the best, but I don't agree with the listeners to be #24. I disagree with the listeners, that #15 and #14 Casioaks shouldn't be in a top 100 hits. Speaking about #11, #10, #9, #8, and #5 , those listeners are probably deaf, or they know nothing about the music. #6 confetti style is a good song. #2 isn't so bad song (at least it's possible to see what's the time.....sometimes).

I have the GPRB1000 and i have not charge the watch for 3 years+ and i only use the basic functionality of it. It only depleted one bar since the first day of purchase.

I just ordered a Bluetooth Yellow GA-B2100C-9A and a Bluetooth Black GA-B2100-1A. Both have the positive lcd display and the hour markers on both are very legible because they are white markers on the yellow watch and silver gray markers on the black one. I also ordered the black GA-2100-1A with the silver gray markers and the negative lcd display and the gray GA-2100PTS-8A with the bull bars with white markers and a negative lcd display. All 4 of these G-Shocks are in transit and I'm awaiting delivery of them sometime this week. I also purchased another 5th Black GPR-H1000-1JR Rangeman that I was able to purchase brand new from the Middle East on eBay for $349.56 with the tax included. I will now have a total of 7 Rangeman G-Shocks. 5 Black and 2 Yellow GPR-H1000 Rangeman G-Shocks. I am thinking of getting one more 3rd Yellow GPR-H1000-9JR Rangeman to have in my G-Shock collection if I can find it for $350 with the tax included like I did the other 2 that I currently purchased last month that I own. I don't know what it is that makes me keep buying another Rangeman. I think it's because I love the style and the two color combinations of the Rangeman so much that I just have to have another every time that I see it on sale online. I think I have Ramgeman OCD to keep purchasing more than one Rangeman like I do.

Hello Jim, a question....I have the Mudman GW-9500-1ER. A great watch, but the barometer has a difference of 1 or 2 hPa.....can you compare the barometer on the GPR-H1000, the GBD-H2000 and the GW9500? Is there a difference on your GW-9500? I hope to hear! Keep up the good work!

@@rb2112 Yes, sir! The barometer will be the next batch of testing. From my experience so far it needs to be calibrated often for an accurate spot measurement.

This is the best looking 2100 IMO. I'm curious to see if the cordura is comfortable. The concern I have about these strap adapters (like Jays and Kays too) is that now you have 4 spring bars which means there are 4 break points rather than two. I'm hard on watches like you! I'm looking forward to your follow up on this one.

Hi Jim, I just bought the Mudman TLC, I love it, I figured if I'm spending Mudman money, a few euros / dollars more wont make much difference. We have Toyota Hilux trucks on the farm and these products compliment each other, so that swayed me in the TLC direction. Your diesel dunking, oil dipping, and mud bath coating swayed me in the Mudman direction. Keep doing the tough reviews and demonstrations, and don't hold back on the findings or conclusions. I got the Jays and Kays adapters and Wrist Candy Watch Club FKM rubber band at my DW5600, and it's more than enough for any wrist I would say...I got almost 8 inch wrist, wearing it loose, and there's 5 more free holes at the band, plus band itself is a good quality, thick band with a double keeper....after a year of wearing every day (not abusing), I don't see any signs of use. The only thing I'm doing is wiping that band almost every day with a wet wipe, since it can become stinky from the sweat....oh yeah, that band had some meeting with the hot frying oil, but again, wet wipe and it was like a new again. Your wrist is just a half inch wider than mine which is really not a lot, you should be able to wear a lot of bands now. G shock bestseller list is useless, the only important thing is what's useful to you. I don't remember that I've ever have a look at that list.

Hi Jim. I have a Panasonic GH6 camera (which might be a good choice for you as it has no recording limit and will not overheat) and due to the power draw it needs a very particular specification of power bank that will work. Maybe your camera has the same issue. You can often also get a battery shaped power source which has a cable attached to which you apply power. Might be worth taking a look to see if something like that is available.
