The GA 700 is the most readable and I like the most, especially with this dial. I have the GWG 1000-1A3ER mudmaster on my wrist, and if we talk about glow and lume, this version has fully lumed indicators and hands, and actually the smaller lug to lug distance makes it more confortable to wear compared to the new gwg-b1000, which is not that thick, but more elongated, and the crystal is more recessed on the older model. So the GA 700 is very similar and the most readable, so I keep my eye on it.

I snatched up the 2100 version, and I gotta say, I love it. It's the first time G-Shock came out with full-lume dials (I think) and they just add SO MUCH to already functional and fun watches.

Hi Jim! I did in fact receive my GA2100 Hidden Glow, and I like it a lot! During the day the face is white, and gives no hint that it’ll glow in the dark. The hands also glow at night, but they’re a darker green and easily seen against the lighter green face. I own two G-Shocks; a GW5000U and this GA2100, and hope to add a few more at some point.. I appreciate the time and effort you put into your reviews, and they’re fun to watch! Take care!

I got the GA 700 hidden glow and I love it and the way it looks, I'm using the caution yellow 2100 casioak for work so the GA 700 hidden glow is my new day off watch and I absolutely love it

That's a great idea! If it was me I'd put orange on the minute hand and blue on the hour hand. Let us know how it goes!

@@JimKinkade update! So I bought one that day, it has been on my wrist since then. I am a hvac tech of many years and wanted something durable and visible in dark crawl spaces and basements. So far I have noticed there is a good contrast with the hands, much better then expected. For me I do not see a need to change out the hands because they seem to have twice the lume than the dial making it stand out after gathering lots of natural light. The lume does seem to dissipate after 30 minutes or so but the built in light compensates for that. In all for my needs it’s perfect and I picked up a second one for when I inevitably wear it out. I would recommend this to every installer and service tech in my industry, it’s light weight and the stop watch function let’s me time calls and clock gas meters with ease.

GA 700. I stopped buying this series after the first round I grabbed (Bl, Gr, Wh, Blu) I ordered the GA-700-8A on the drop! I totally agree with your assessment.

700... Stupid because the big cut out will make it hard to read at times, 2100 stupid because hands are lumed, 6900 stupid because it doesn't seem like it will help readability, Asian models: self evidently stupid.
