Thank you SO much for that video! I just received my GM-2100 today and was (as a total newbie to watches) surprised that regular 16mm bands are useless (size). I do like the full-polished-silver metal look, but I definitely prefer a leather band most of the time, since it just feels more comfortable I spent the day researching and only found info about the metal-band modding kits and stuff like that. Thanks to your video, I can now get my GM-2100 with leather bands, as well as metal (whenever I feel like it). Thank you so very much! ❤

Im following this mod, i like the way it looks with the nylon strap even though I don't mind the original straps it comes with.. i have to say tho.. 24 dollars for those tiny adapters hurts.. that's a really steep price for such a tiny part.

That strap looks way more comfortable than the original one, which I find really hard even after a few months of wearing it.

Great video glad you shared this.. It's something I might consider doing although I don't dislike the original strap as much as you do. My only complaint is I wish you showed the canvas strap on your wrist

Great video. I've just added this exact same watch to my small collection. Sadly can't seem to find these adapters, spotted a few other comments saying they dont post to the UK anymore. Shame as these looked a nice fit and easy to swap 😞.

Yes, I reached out to them and they've stopped posting to the UK. I just had a quick search on Ebay for "casio lug adapter" and there's plenty of others out there (both plastic and metal)

They're great in the water and work just as well. The only slight problem is the hold water. I don't take my watch off whilst showering or swimming so you do find the straps stays wet for maybe an hour or so. It's no biggie, but it's definitely something you get used to :D

Great review, going to do the same now on my Yellow, one question, are the adaptors a good fit?. I purchased the earlier ones from these guys and there was a big gap between the adaptor and watch body.

Hi Arnold. I've had a quick look on Amazon and there seemed to be plenty of other people making them. I've only ever bought from Jays and Kays so I can't voucher for the others, sorry. I guess if you check the reviews they should help. Yes, on the 22mm side. That's what it's converted to. If it's any different it should say in the product name or description. I hope that helps buddy

Excellent video! Please forgive the dumb question, I noticed you went from 16mm to 22mm. but can this be done going from 16mm to 20mm, or does j and k not offer the adaptor in that configuration?

Glad to hear you enjoyed it. I think 22mm is the sweet spot most of these adapters go with. It's mail as the lines off the face of the watch fits a 22mm band. The other option would be to find a tapering band.

Hey Dennis, I don't think they do buddy. You could always message them on social media and see if it's something they'd consider doing in the future. I think with resins and plastics it's very hard to match colour ways when making third part stuff... whereas black is black so they're easier to colour match. There's other companies out there making them if you search on Google. I hope that helps buddy

Hi MrMods. The adapter is the GA-2100 adapter. It's the same as the GA-B2100 as they're essentially the same watch. Hope that helps... Unless they're out of stock and then they'll have them back online soon I guess

Hey BagiLaci. Yes they should do. As long as you have the right lug width then any of the quick release or even none quick release bars will work. Since getting these, I've bought other 22mm straps and they all work perfectly ✌️ I hope that helps

Hi! I have yellow casio G-Shock 2110 su-9 and like to change the strap but is it possible to change the whole rubber body?

Hi Erik, I hope you're well and having a great week. I have to say the yellow version looks amazing. It was the other colour I originally toyed with getting. The yellow/black face cover is really easy to remove and replay. When you look at the lugs on the top and bottom you'll see those 4 screws (2 top left and right, and two bottom left and right). Those four screws hold the resin face protector. If you unscrew them you'll be able to lift it off. You might have to lift it slightly at the side to make sure it comes over the buttons. This is another ease option to change the looks and there's a lot of third party covers out there, even some really nice high quality CNC milled metal covers. Removing the screws doesn't option the cassette/module where the internal are house so you can do this without any worry of damaging or losing anything from inside. I think that's also why this has become one of Casio's most popular watch in the modding community Instagram has some amazing images on there too - instagram.com/thecasioak/

They are yes to some degree. I can definitely say I've never dropped my from 10 meters and needed the shock absorbing qualities of the strap as Casio test them 🤣

Hi Imran. The GA-2100 and GA-B2100 both fit the same lug adapter my friend. Even though I have the GA-B2100 I bought the GA-2100 adapter to fit on mine. I hope that helps Have a great weekend

I haven't had that issue myself however I'll definitely keep an eye on it. I didn't realise they did metal version as I'd always had the plastic versions. Hopefully they've had feedback and it's something they're addressing. Thanks for watching and commenting

Morning Peter. Yes, the adapter is a male 16mm into the watch head and a female 22mm opening for the strap. I suppose the width between the lugs and the width of the strap are the same measurement. Is that what you meant?

Hi there. Do you mean the watch or the straps? If its the watches then there'll be plenty of colours soon enough. The original GA-2100 is now available in plenty of colours so the GA-B2100 will have more colours soon... Oh wait... Did you mean the lug adapters? Yeah, they need to do a few more colours.
