I like the background commentator 🤣
Looking forward to the unboxing of your Rangeman that Casio Service sent back to you to see what they did to repair the stripped threads in the lugs.

Yes, I am curios too. But I think they replaced the inner case. I don't think the service center will do modifications, and simply use some epoxy to fix the screws. Another possibility is to just send a new watch if the parts are not available, and the costs are very close to the price of a new watch. Worst case scenario is they just send your watch back in the same condition, no repair under warranty. They can just blame the user for stripping the threads. And if the service center is doing some research on this channel, there are some interesting durability test videos, liquid nitrogen, diesel, oil and other chemicals. Casio don't mention anything about this, the watch is rated for 200 m water resistance mud resist buttons and shock resistant module. I generally avoid to clean my watches with harsh cleaners. The gaskets don't like this kind of treatment. And the new bioresin case and strap..... Ok, let's see the video.
Jim, what are you expecting for 50 bucks? It's a step tracker, a watch, stopwatch whatever, countdown, bluetooth, a reliable brand....I mean...it's really hard to beat it (even though I don't like it at all, I'm a bit purist about Casio...I got a couple of bluetooth Casios (I don't know how much exactly) and they were connected only once, just because I wanted to check does that bluetooth works). That's a ''modern'' interpretation of the modern sports watch....to be honest, I like my ''modern'' interpretation of the old sports watch, like DW-5040PG, or the ''old'' interpretation of the old sports watch, like DW-5200C (which is basically the same watch but 40 years older😀) Maybe you really should try with the elastic strap Jim....it's cheap and you can stretch it around the elephant's leg if you really have to. I really miss my little Casio from the 80's, which I managed to destroy in a couple of hours, just like a reminder about the good old time when the watch has been just the watch, nothing else, a time measuring tool.

Yea, it's pretty basic watch but so am I.
cool
I got the B1000-8BJF and the only downside i have is that the screen is not bright enough (it's the negative one).

@@JimKinkade yes, they look cool but I am out in the open almost all day and I can't see shit, although I noticed that when I wear sunglasses I see the dial better.
How many steps you walk daily?
