    Excellent video and advice. I have an AEG F85060 dishwasher with the same problem and I could fix it following these instructions. I also soldered on a 2cm piece of thick copper cable to act as a heat sink. If you need to replace the relay itself and can't find a replacement, then I think a SRD-12VDC-SL-C should do the job. I have not used it myself, but it has the same specs and pinout so it should work.

    Also - checkout the phatfingaz project - its the next logical step for the buttons with RGB backlighting which worked really well - that was only a midi controller (bigger version of midi fighter with full size buttons) - and with RGB you can have cool different modes - one of them was a transport contorl for pause play rec stop and mute/unmute of multiple channels etc. Honestly the next step for any drum machine or MPC type product is an RGB backlit MPC pad PCB with neopixels in it. That being modular and usable in any arduino based project while being compatible with genuine MPC pads and membranes. I'm surprised noone has done it yet.....

    I noticed it has a prewash detergent compartment next to the main one at 2:20. When you wash normal dirty loads on the auto or intensive programmes, if you fill that prewash basin with powder or liquid dishwasher detergent, you will get the best wash results (even when using tablets or pods).

  • @StuffAboutStuff

    @@StuffAboutStuff Wiping dry the compartment will stop tablets or detergent sticking. Any cheap dishwasher powder or liquid can be used in the prewash, along with your normal tablet or pod in the main basin (for full-sized loads on normal cycles, _not_ quick washes). I'm thinking of buying the Miele-brand powder soon (it can be used in *any* make of dishwasher) as it's got so many good reviews and none negative. Can use that in both and not bother with tablets. Thank you so much for sharing this. My 20 year old AEG recently broke down with several issues (including a broken drain pump). I’m a fairly competent home car mechanic but know nothing about dishwashers. One of the faults was a lack of hot water and it had the exact same issue with the relay burning the board - I would never have figured this out on my own. Just a tip for anyone else with a lack of heat, the other thing to check is continuity of the heating element or pipe heater. Older AEGs have a heater in the pipe at back behind the rear panel (pull the machine out) and a simple test of the power connectors will allow you to eliminate that potential issue as well.

    Yeah definitely late - the 6700XTs are ok 46Mh for 110w isn’t too shabby - you have to go for a dedicated mining gpu to significantly improve on that - but I decided I wanted gaming gpus I can re-use or re-sell. If I wanted dedicated mining hardware I would just order an ASIC…. 580 is going to be heading in the wrong direction after POS on ETH though - not really profitable on RVN already….their days are numbered in rigs unless you’re prospecting sh17coin s… But to be fair - it’s not like I have a lot of choice - finding retail priced cards was not easy….there’s a bunch popping up now but back in November they were hens teeth!! I’m going to plough on and push through and see what happens….currently running a 50% profit margin despite the dip so while it’s profitable I’ll keep going….

  • @StuffAboutStuff
    @StuffAboutStuff2 жыл бұрын

    Yeah! That 3090 continues to be an adventure - I made space and put a fan on the back to help the ram cool - I’ve also changed the pads now but still some form of power throttling (not currently saying heat throttling - it’s power throttling). Next stop is a bios flash - then if that doesn’t work I’ll be resorting to water cooling…..I’m resigned to just using it in my desktop rig now….I’m lucky if I get 80 mH and it’s horribly inefficient in throttling mode so I’m better off gaming with it and getting a couple more Amd 6700xt to compensate.
