The original has obvious low end girth. Sounds tapered or low passed on the new version. More of an appearance of openness and width on the original diamonds. It’s 18v. Not sure about the new one. 18v? 9v? Guessing 9v. New one def has the tone. The old double wide form factor and the build of the original diamonds is very appealing . I have a few including the vibrato. Have not seen the inside of the new ones but space/ form factor plus headroom are going to sacrifice something in new production. Solid gold fx make great pedals in their own right in that 9v form factor. I have 3 fuzzes by them. Good company.
