Music To Walk Home By | Tame Impala Guitar Cover

Here's my cover of (probably) my favorite song off of Lonerism, Music to Walk Home By. I did the three main guitar parts: Kevin's main phased guitar, the synth guitar, and the ending fuzz guitar. Hope you guys dig it :)

    Dude. I can NOT belieeeve the chord tone you found. I’d call you a master of sound for getting that tone down, well done. Did it take long to figure out? I’m sure having the same gear helped!

    That means a ton thanks a lot dude! It definitely took a hell of a long time to dial it all in and get a good enough pedal order to get it to sound right. Even with the gear his sound is really specific on Lonerism and even changes from song to song.

    Where did you find a rick with toasters and that flat plate bridge?

  • @TameTones

    @TameTones

    Жыл бұрын

    That Rick started life out as a normal Jetglo 330. I added the flat tailpiece. Its called the accent vibrato tailpiece from Winfield, Rickenbacker sadly doesnt make them anymore aside from the john lennon models. And the pickups were also added later, they’re Scatterwounds which are exact to vintage toasters. Took a while to get the upgrades but it was so worth it. Hope that helps man.

    Spot on dude! Are you using the lead channel on the Gazelle for the main phased guitar?

    Im actually using the clean channel on this one. Most of the crunch comes from the blues driver and dyna comp going into the gazelle!

    Hey sorry for the late reply but for the synth guitar I used an old Boss recorder unit that has effects (Boss BR600). Its the same one Kevin uses on the recordings!
