Great Work! I made my own approximation from scratch when I first heard the bagpipe samples. So great to finally see someone else fighting the good fight. I just tried your method, sounds great! I find it to be even better if you use the Full Range amp model rather than the VO Lead, you get more of that high end fizzle!

Amazing work man! Now that it's all been solved, i guess the only next step is making new hypothetical patches that sound like they could've easily been on Currents hahah

I don't have the gear, nor a guitar. But everytime I listen to Tame Impala I just want to buy a guitar and learn how to create personal songs with Tame Impala flavor. Thanks mate for these detailed guides. Also, could you suggest, which guitar would be a better idea for these kind of occasions - Tele or Strat? Looking at 150-250 dollar range just to satiate this urge.

My Let It Happen tone has been scrapped because I wasn’t happy with it after some time, I think it could be a lot more accurate so until I post a cover of that new attempt, there’ll be a tutorial of it soon after.

I released a cover of the song right before this video, I isolated the drums on it so all you hear is the patch I made without the original solo clouding it!

The dalai lama and the pope are not doing as much of the lords work as you are. I saw in Mark Ronson's show Watch the Sound that KP said he used a drum machine on The Moment. Do you know which drum machine he used?
