  The chief judge does not have superiority over the Supreme Court so going to make any difference what the chief judge says. The Supreme Court has ruled that you can photograph inside any public building, so your chief judge isn't worth a tanker's dam, probably a liberal that doesn't know his head from the hole in the ground

  So someone please tell me, when does a county judge over rule a Supreme Court judge. I don't think that can happen so you can have your little flunky rules from your little county Judge. But the Supreme Court's going to overrule you every time and when you're not smart enough to figure it out, you get sued. I feel sorry for the individuals living in your jurisdiction

  You can’t be prevented from filming in public just because a film set is present if it can be seen from a public space. You don’t get a magic force field to trespass people’s eyes. You can ask people not to record, but the onus of privacy is on the ones shooting the movie to erect barriers and close down streets if necessary. If you stumble across a film set in public you can absolutely record it. I see them occasionally in Chicago but most are set up so you can’t get too close if you wanted to. You need a permit to film in public places, which can include the ability to shut down streets and other areas, but only if your activities will impede public access. A single photographer or a small crew doesn’t require a permit despite what the tyrants believe. If you’re filming on private property you can’t include a public sidewalk in your zone of control as the Karen on the film crew was trying to do. You have to make arrangements and notify the community in advance. If I can see it I can record it. If you don’t want it seen that is a you problem.

  By now every cop has to be familiar with auditors, although as ignorant as they are about the law it wouldn’t surprise me if they were that clueless. They keep walking right into the trap when they could just let people be and make these videos disappear when there’s no misconduct to film. It’s simple. Enforce the law and serve the public. Don’t treat everyone as guilty until proven innocent. It’s so unnecessary and damaging to their mission. If you’re this triggered by a camera you should not be in law enforcement.
