    Great photo type. I’ve spent the day at the arcade with the kids and fancy building one. Thanks for the video.

    It's a shame you couldn't make 2 because before the spinkles and bite mark it looked pretty awesome and good enough as is. But I gotta admit, with the sprinkles, 'dripping glaize' and bite mark, makes it look like something to eat and really good. I'm wondering if those are actual real sprinkles or just pieces of plastic.

    No bite mark or sprinkles. I like the blue glaze though.

    Very cool. I like the dinosaur better but that’s probably because my grandkids love them. You are the polishing master, isn’t there a way you could shine up the dinosaur with a buffing wheel or something.

    What kind of UV resin

  • @Zinnia1234
    @Zinnia12342 күн бұрын

    The hard lesson I learned is that you can’t use black or dark colors in UV resin because UV light can’t penetrate the color, so it won’t harden.

    You might want to try using large rocksalt crystals instead of ice. If you manage to fuse the rocksalt together in a loose matrix the resin ought to fill in the gaps. After the resin sets, you just soak the thing in water to dissolve away the salt.

    Would you add a final layer of diamond sealant on top if you wanted to protect/preserve the cereal on top as a sort of statue?

    LOVE your final result! Can UV resin be recast in clear "regular" resin? That way you could give it structural support and even turn it on a lathe! When I was a kid we made "Swiss cheese candles" in milk cartons by hanging a wick down the middle of the cartoon, filling them with ice, and pouring melted wax in the carton to fill it! (Wax is probably not as hot as the resin 😆) It was cool to watch the candle wax drizzle out of the holes when you burned the candle! 🩵💙🕯💙🩵
