You two are so cute together, to have been in love so long that you grew up side by side is amazing. I like when Nichole joins in the projects because for one thing there's a different spring in Ben's step, and just an all around giddiness. She brings in new perspectives and it's just fun to watch your gears working together.

My husband's cat, Princess Abby-doo-fluffy-butt-shmoof-poof-Haimberger, just turned 16 on January 27th. The reality of her age hit me hard when you talked about your fur baby's passing at 16 yrs old. 😢 Pets are family, and I wish they lived as long as we do. 😭

My cats are 21, 18, 14, and 6. We lost one at 12, but the 10 yr old we adopted has surpassed that. It’s always hard to lose one, but enjoy the time you have.

I think those long skinny things from the pine tree are the pollen bearing structures. I've seen them on pines here in the western US but not that big! You could try stained glass....either with actual colored glass or with transparent resin.

I enjoyed going on your vacation with you and seeing some of the sites you saw. Just wanted to make a suggestion (I have commented previously on a different video with this suggestion but you may not have seen it as it was buried in a longer comment on something else). Ben, when you are turning a sphere, near the end before you cut it off the waste block on the lathe, it reminds me of a snow globe. My suggestion is to make a one piece snow globe by pouring a dark coloured base then some kind of scene or filling, then when turning the sphere, leave the base on and turn it to make it look like a snow globe (all in one piece). It could be just solid, or you might also consider casting within the resin a clear ball filled with maybe mineral oil and objects of some kind (similar to the door knobs you did) to make it more like a snow globe. I guess you could also build an LED into the base. I just think it could look awesome.

Thanks for your videos Ben (and Nicole). I love watching them and learn lots about this kind of resin art, although I will probably never do it myself (I just love watching you do it!). However, I have already thought through how you might do a solid snow globe and one with a liquid centre, so if you ever do make these, I would be interested to see if you do the same or different to what I have thought of! 😄😜

This was great :) Have you tried inside out turning ? Once turned, fill the inside with resin and something suspended inside, then do a final turning ;)

Hi Ben & Nicole, I really liked this video, I totaly enjoyed it, I absolutely love the projects and experiments you do on the channel. Would you believe I am in the UK and I have bought UV resin and a UV torch from Just Resin just because of your channel. Keep up the good work.

Loved this. Nicole might enjoy lamp work if you both want to do stuff with glass. It’s smaller scale, less heat, and I think it would suit her creative style.

Why not use some of the dried Bob hair in coasters? You could do a set of 4 using local leaves, grasses, seed pods etc A great addition in the store. Loved the coasters you both made a couple of months back. Nice video this week. Thanks for sharing your birthday with us Ben.

That vacuum chamber exploding would have been scary, i have a 25 mm thick lid on my vacuum chamber. I don’t like those cheap vacuum chambers. If you’re looking for a local supplier for resin, AA fibreglass in Brisbane have a variety of resins and a really good reputation. I haven’t tried them yet but will be soon. PS. I love watching your videos

4:46 You could get into doing small jewelry size glass stuff, using little glass rods and a small torch, for probably just a couple hundred dollarydoos. And at that scale, I think you can get away with cooling the glass down in a kitchen oven
