I picked up a Remington 700 BDL in .243 and this scope was one it. I had never heard of the brand before and also have never had a scope like this so I just thought is was so cheap off brand sniper scope. lol it’s pretty darn nice. Has so many adjustments I don’t even know where to start

Have you tried the Hornady 147gr ELD-M? I use them in my long range classes. Does it have a 20moa rail or "0" MOA rail.

Good video. I have both rifles and a Belgara, the CZ 457 MTR with the correct ammo, can shoot 1 moa at 150 yards all day long. But the Tikka is not that far behind, in summary my Tikka is in my opinion the best rifle I have for the money.

I just love Howa. I mean Japanese made..say no more. If you just want an affordable rifle that will shoot well that has no frills but will last a lifetime long after you forgot what you paid.

If you can read between the lines of this video, you can clearly see that this rifle isn't that great and buddy here is doing his best to make it seem half decent. For 1200 bucks go buy a T3x and call it a day. I love the 700 I have 1 sitting in front of me but it's very out dated. Point being that remington has been selling a basic black 700 in a shitty hogue stock for like 20 God damn years.

Im going to start shooting PRS. Im thinking about getting a t3x varmint stainless. Thats pretty much descided. Now 6,5x55 or 308? Shorter barrel with supressor or long barrel? I know 308 can handle short barrels, but 6,5x55 kinda need longer barrels. What do you suggest? Selling a few guns to finance the build. Putting an Arken Optics EPL4 4-16x44 FFP VHR MIL on it.

It might be nice to know that within the box there's a handy small plastic device that you can use instead of a coin to adjust te scope. As it's never been mentioned I guess most users don't find it on the bottom of the black foam, I saw it after several days myself.

You can brag-up the Remington all you want, but just hope you never break a part on it . I broke a Extractor on mine and Rem. doesn't even have replacement parts they tell you you to go on-line and try to find parts. Pretty sad !!

Stop short-stroking both actions. Really terrible technique. The MTR vs the T1X is not apples to apples at all. I could care less what the average of 21 different types of ammo shows. Give me 10 round groups of the best 2-3 ammo each shoots. The T1X bone stock is not good for PRS type shooting. I typically enjoy most of your content. This is rubbish. The Tikka goes for $625. The MTR is $900. I could easily spend $200 to make the T1X shoot as well in any PRS match.

Thanks for teaching me the Canadian pronunciation of chamois. I received a new ED-PRS 5-25 x 56 today. Amazon $349. The manual enclosed was not for this model. I see no contact info online or a pdf manual. I am wondering what the left, outside knob function is? Thoughts?

It is certainly cosmetically appealing. Would look good on a couple of my rifles. However, a relatively unknown optic selling for $700 in Canuckistan is a hard sell vs an Arken or the new Vortex viper line.

I have an opportunity to purchase a used Savage 110 Elite Precision in 6.5 Creedmoor for $1,500. Alternatively I can get a Sabatti Tactical Evo for a bit less. Sabatti are a family owned Italian producer of rifles and shotguns. I already have one in 308 which has served me well. They are quite innovative and I love their McMillan style stock. The Savage is in a chassis which I am still beginning to like. It's a great price tho.
