Beautiful 😍
Thank you! 😊
Looks great!
T-2000
Long way to go indeed. But all the little things help.
Great job. I clicked on this because I saw him using a skill saw on the outline. Smart. I use them cutting curves on wood gates, and when shaping a board I’ve used one to cut rocker when my planer was malfunctioning. Can be used to cut specific width concaves too.
Love this! Perfect for our vacation. Keep it up!
Thank you for sharing the beautiful scenery
Best rum in the world
Hellw from philipines
??????? ?
What's the question? 🤪
Looks nice, well done! Which lenses did you used? And did you used a specific lut for grading?
Thanks! Most b-roll with the Samyang 35mm 1.5. Interviews with the RF nifty 50mm. No specific Luts.
Great job! Sadly we missed you at the Citrus festival, are you still in the area?
We were definitely there! @algarvefoodexperience
Amazing!
Thanks!
🍊🍊🍊 Very Nice!
Thanks!
Parabens Jon, that is a beautiful thing you do...
Beautiful ❤️
Thanks Patrick! It was a joy to film
Very well shot and not to mention a fantastic subject too. Kudos!
Thanks Yassine!!!!!!
Finally a piece of art showing the true about citrus cultivation and its implications for the environment
All with your help. Keep doing your great work in advocating change!
A positive story well told, and I have to say I've had some of the best oranges (and organic fruit and vegetables in general) of my life in Portugal. The country is a garden.
The sweetest oranges. One of the 'tricks' is that they leave them on the tree longer.
Showing everyone the best orange in the world in style! Nice cinemathography, making good use of Algarve's natural light. Well done!
Thank you so much for the compliments!
Don't see any surfers, what a waste!
Let me know if you're keen on getting out on a day like this and we'll make a new video 🤪
Wish you included some comments on the concave! As far as I can see just a subtle single into flat?
Fully watched and loved it by drone. New friends here from Algarve, Portugal. Have you seen our latest work and Playlists? Full support - hope to see you 👍🎁💯🗺️💐
Shes using a tool with no safety guard and no safety glasses. How irresponsible can you be.
Thanks Anthony! She did wear safety glasses during grinding but those are not highlighted in the video. What other safety measures do you propose? It might be of help to other viewers. Thanks
@@1stDayofSummer Every grinder comes with a guard which covers 50% of the wheel. People remove the guard entirely because it hinders the work. The blade spins at 11,000 RPM on mine. If your hand slips you can easily lose a finger. What i did was cut the guard to around 30 degrees for maximum cutting while still protecting your hands. If she wore glasses while cutting, you should show it.
Good tip! Thanks
@@anthonyd2923 whilst you're not wrong, you cannot carve marble efficiently with a guard on, they should have glasses AND an appropriate face shield.
@@anthonyd2923 You realize there aren't real machine tools outside of small hand dremels that can efficiently cut stone into sculptures right? You probably do construction which is where I understand your logic but from a sculptors perspective you simply need to stop talking. Yes the tool comes with a guard and the guard would come in handy with the precise cutting in construction or home projects but as I said their are not very many actual machines that can make sculpting easier so we use the tools at our disposal obviously we know there is a risk and we must be safe with the tool. I don't however believe I've ever heard of a sculptor being injured doing it this way so 🤷♂️. I believe you are clearly out of your area of expertise here. You can use it for what you do it for and we can use it our way. As many of us already do.
What lens did you use? Forgot to ask you.
Hey Christopher, I used one lens, the Samyang 35mm/ 1.5. I didn't have the official Canon mount adapter yet, so used one by Viltrox. This added some crop factor. Hope this helps.
which planer is he using
What happened to the large marble plate? In the video it looks like as if you start with a quite large plate and in the end all is reduced to rubble.
Very observant, Nick 💪. In the first part, you see that part of the plate is used to make the largest circle possible from that piece. Unfortunately, while filming, the plate broke in half. As this can happen to any artist, we decided to continue and get creative. Also good to know, is that the plates are already rubble as these are plates she gets through donations after buildings are demolished etc. It's 'recycling' in a way. Hope this makes sense
@@1stDayofSummer Hello ! Greetings from Ceylon.I understand that this was a presentation of the technical type. I definitely took notice of the very good dust mask and the grinding disk you use. Also the way you sliced the stone was interesting to watch till the end of your video. And when I thought.. now comes the final output.. I was just a bit surprised. CHEERS.
Outstanding job, or to me it's pure art.
It is!!
Found your Channel yesterday... i am so stoked!! Love your Videos, please do more! This year I´ll drive to Portugal to go surfing and your videos make me so excited for the trip. Go on Buddy you have talent!
Thank for the super kind words! Glad you enjoy the videos. Have fun while surfing un Portugal. Leave only footprints 😉😎
I saw those gorgeous spots from the seaside a dozen times but never on land. I need to visit on the land side and fly my bird as well. Great shots!
Thanks so much! Yes, you should definitely visit and explore by land.
would love to know what tools you use and can your measurement template be bought, im starting out please
Please contact the shaper directly.
so the tools i mostly use are very simple and can be bought from most good hardware shops, however if you want better stuff you can find online if you shop around. My template i can't sell you but try www.blendingcurves.com they have a load of free ones there. Hope this helps
You have shown me a new place of longing...many Thanx. I must go there...where the sea explodes ...sooooo wonderful

Fantastic video and the burger does seem delicious!!! I am in Lisbon, where should I go for burgers here?
Thank you so much! Yes, the burger is insanely delicious. We have yet to discover the burgerworld in Lisbon but we will this year. If we find one that compares, will definitely let you know 💪🔥
@@1stDayofSummer sounds lovely bro, hope I can stop by soon to try that beast! Is the shop on Instagram to check it out? 🤞🏾
@nahnahbah
Bravo! Great video! The wildness of Barlavento!
Thanks so much! The power of nature on full display
Very nice friend.great job😘😘....
Anybody here for school?
yup
Yea
The DGO is incredible! That first shot in almost complete darkness with some areas lit...the shadows are so clean!! What ISO were you shooting at? Was this in Intra vs Long GOP?
Nice that you noticed that as a was equally amazed how good the dark areas looked in that shot. I tried to keep the ISO at 800 as I saw somewhere that was recommended for the C70. Don't shoot me as I am still learning about all the technicalities, but I think the long GOP. If it helps, I used the MP4(HEVC) as a recording format.
@@1stDayofSummer Yeah 800 is where the DGO is activated. So keep it at that best you can to have clean shadows and highlights. You should film in the Intra codec too! If you're amazed at the Long GOP, the 410mb/s codec will blow you away! Let's connect! What's your social media? Would love to collab! I'm in California! How about you?
@@1stDayofSummer I connected with you on facebook and IG i think!
I am in Portugal so a collab will be difficult, but will connect, thanks. Thank you for sharing these tips and insights!!
@@1stDayofSummer you never know, I might travel to Portugal one of these days lol
Nah Nah Bah is the SPOT! You nailed it - an absolute must-stop location for food that hits the spot every time. Way to go, Selmo!
Agreed, this is the BEST burger in Portugal, awesome video & production!
In every city we visit, we should find the best burger place! 🔥💪😀 (on top of: best cocktail place, best brewery, best wine bar)
Beautiful shooting and a great subject! Nice work!
Thanks for the awesome words, especially coming from a fellow filmmaker 🙏🏼
Fantastic work Sebastiaan. Congratulations. 👏👏👏 Makes us feel like eating the burger. 🤤
Muito obrigado!! 🙏🏼😍
I was on the fence about the C70. Your video confirmed my decision to pull the trigger. Nice work! What what your lens selections?
I am taking that as a big compliment Mark! 🙏🏼 I also spent months researching. The body itself and features are amazing as you know. This was my first shoot with it and impressed by the look, better than I expected. We shot this on only one lens, the Samyang 35mm cinelens. Which actually turns into a 50mm because of the EF-to-RF mount. Most of it was shot hand-held, Clog 2 4:2:2 10 bit. File sizes were fine. I am looking forward to get some higher quality cinema lenses on there.
@@1stDayofSummer If and when I get this camera, I cannot wait to put my Leica R's on it!
When it tastes as good as it looks... 🔥🔥🔥
Better!
Mmmmmmmmm...I want one NOW!!!
Cutting w/a skill saw? Impressive. It looks a lot easier than an actual saw.
Yep this saw is amazing super clean cuts, always at 90 degrees
Beautiful = lindo. Parabéns nossos novos amigos. Welcome all to our channel as well. Stay all safe!
Muito obrigado! 🙏
