Miravet is a small village along the Ebre river in the Provence of Tarragona, Catalonia. The Moors founded the Old Village and used clay pottery as the main source of income.
Transformed by the Knights Templars into a fortress-monastery, after the conquest of 1153, the Miravet Castle is a fine example of Romanesque architecture of the Knights Templar.
