For centuries, the Aljezur area has been used for agriculture, fishing and trade. The rivers run through the valleys and end up in the ocean at wide, sandy beaches sided by dramatic cliffs.
The nearby mountain range of Serra de Monchique frequently causes morning fog in the valleys, providing breathtaking sunrises.

The Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park in Portugal is part of 2 regions: the Alentejo and the Algarve. The Costa Vicentina of the Algarve is divided into Concelho Aljezur and Concelho Vila do Bispo. This video is part 1: Concelho Aljezur.

Thank you for sharing the beautiful scenery
Years ago I got out of the Lisbon airport, 7:30 in the morning, and little head South with my wife, that she didn't know nothing about her own country. We stopped at pasteis de Belém for breakfast, after that was a trip all the way of Sagres Point. 7 days, Sesimbra, Portinho data Arrábida, Setubal, Troia, Sines, Porto Covo, ilha do Pessegueiro, Vila Nova de Milfontes, Aljezur, Vila do Bispo, Sagres. To us was the best trip, the beaches, the food, the people, it's in our hearts for ever the experience of a life time in a small country with so much to offer,💙🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹
