Jeeps, cars, and motorcycles are the main subjects of my channel. I do repair demonstrations such as how to test various sensors on my Jeep Wrangler YJ.
Also included are How to get the check engine light codes, removing a locking gas cap if you lost your key, oil changes, tune-ups, changing sensors, changing clutch, fuel pressure testing and so much more.
Modifications such as ammo can storage, Posi-lok conversion, push-button starter conversion.
Tool tricks and tips? Yep got that too.
Come on in and check out my channel. Please feel free to browse around my videos and don't forget to subscribe so you will know each time I post a new one. While you are at it check out my sites http:\\\\www.fixjeeps.com\\ .

May jeep jk 2018 is making a squeezy sounds when I am driving I thinking is the suspension
I wish you were my neighbor. I have a 87 YJ , I have replaced thermostat and water pump and I am still running hot. Flushed radiator and burped it. Is it more than likely a bad head gasket? Thank you
Great videos! I'm trying to troubleshoot my non working tachometer. Per my wiring diagrams, one of the roles of the green signal wire coming from the coil is to send signal to the tach. So something I should check is continuity from the coil plug (green wire) to the tach. If that's good, it may indicate a bad tach. Am I'm I thinking about this right? Trying to learn. Your videos are the best!
Super clean. Thanks for all you share.
Ok. That harness part you had a hard time putting back in. I need that female end that’s somewhat melted. What’s it called and where do I get it! The last plug in! THANK YOU!!
Do 99 jeep have door hing liners
Looking for the solution on the signal light indicator staying on the dash when the headlights are on. Did you ever post a video for the fix?
Your doing a amazing job man but wen u change the tcm do u have to have a dealer reprogram it or can u just put a nee one in and be good to go i only ask cuz my tcm is bad in my 2006
I would have used Rivnuts/nutserts instead of metal screws... Do you have a good way to put some posts somewhere on the jeep for jump starting other vehicles?
Now doesn't a 12,000lb. winch pull 300 amps? when pulling so wouldn't that blow that fuse every time?
I stated in the video and demonstrated that the winch is connected directly to the battery. So the fuse isn't directly effected by the winch.
@@Poweraddicts got it just checking again- great find and great video Thanks BTW I'm heaing to the junk yard hahahaha
The crankshaft position sensor in the glovebox was peak comedy
Necessities ... always gotta have a spare :-)
Smartly done 👍👍👍
Thank you 👍 Glad you enjoyed it!!
I make my own electrical lugs from appropriately sized soft copper tubing. Flatten in vice and drill appropriate sized hole for the stud. I think they are superior.
I have done that several times before. I don't have any tubing on hand at the moment. I do find that the soft copper doesn't crimp or hold a crimp as well,a so I solder tubing.

Hello, my 2004 Jeep Rubicon is taking longer to start. When I turn the key for 7 seconds, I have to do two to three on off cycles. Do you think this is the problem. I don't think you mentioned why you changed your filter?
You’re the man I’m doing mine in September
Thanks!
You are very welcome! Thank you for the Super Thanks donation!! It is very much appreciated.
Great idea!
Good info
I can't wait to see the bumper build. I'm considering doing that myself. Thanks for sharing all you do!
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Great video--thank you!! I am in the process of making this setup and using it on my custom van. SOO many accessories on it these two aux boxes will help. Can you tell me the gauge of the yellow wire that goes to the ignition on fuse? Thank you!
Great info!

I got headlight issues!!! I have replaced the dash switch like in one of your videos, I have replaced both headlights, I have cleaned all connections with CRC electrical cleaner, I have removed and cleaned the grounds on engine and for the headlight housings, I think I’m not getting power to the bulbs…ps thanks for the steering column video I replaced mine and turn signals harness brake lights reverse lights and high beam switch all work

Thank you, I just purchased my first 04 Wrangler X and found this unit on Amazon (Vine). This is VERY informational!
Bro this video was amazing thank u
I have been watching your channel for 2-3 years. I saw my TJ in the video. If I had seen you, I sure would have hollered at you.
Not sure if I'm coming up there next year. If I do and you see me ... for sure gimme a holler!!
Thanks a lot for sharing this, Chuck. It's a shame most shows don't have many oldie but goodies anymore but it is what it is.
You are welcome! I agree, I was hoping for more YJs and older rigs. Still a fun day out with friends.
🎉
❤😊
Well done sir
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Hope it helps!!
And if the gauge does not move?
Then you need to check the gauge its self or start tracing the rest of the circuit for the issue.
It doesnt make a difference to torque them down while the valve is open /closed?
Nope, it doesn't matter at all.
Cool thanks 👌
Nicely Done! You covered everything I needed to see to make this repair without screwing up the dash pad and vent. I also appreciated your use of tools and sense of humor. We're kindred spirits 😊
GOING TO A JUNK YARD MAKE GO NUTS / WHEN YOU SEE A RIDE YOU ALWAYS WANTED THE PROBLEM IS YOU SEE 10 PLUS RIDES YOU WANTED / AND CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT IT / GOOD LUCK FINDING WHAT YOU NEED
I can just browse junk yards all day long!
I just bought a used 2010 F 150 that has this problem. Your video is the first one to show there is an upgrade replacement part vs a Micky Mouse repair. The part you mention is out of stock on Amazon but they have a very good upgrade which I ordered. Thank you again for a helpful and quality video.
What year is this truck I have a 2004
Its a 2005
Got a pair for $40.00 at the junk yard like new fit perfect 😊
You got a great deal!! Hope you enjoy them and hope the video helped you.
What are you running for differentials? Lunchbox in the front and limited slip in the rear?
I'm running (the YJ) a Ford 8.8 limited slip rear and D30 Spartan locker front with the CAD collar locked in place with hose clamps. Some people talk smack about the hose clamp mod but I've been running it for years like that with no issues. I'll eventually do the solid axle swap when I feel froggy but the hose clamps work fine so I haven't been in any rush.
@@Poweraddicts yeah man people talk all kinds of nonsense. I’ve been wheeling for years and have seen that done without issue on many rigs. I did one for a friend by moving the small snap ring on the fork rod and it worked great for years. I have a 94 and the vacuum system is still actually working! Hahaha..can’t believe it but it does. Keep the videos coming 👍
My shifter feels loose . It will go in gear fine but in gear you can wobble the shifter back and forth. What’s worn out? Thanks
There is a plastic bushing below where the shifter bolts into the transmission, it could be worn. Its pretty easy to replace. Just unbolt the 4 bolts holding the shifter to the transmission. Pick up the shifter from the transmission you sill see the bushing. Unsnap the old ... snap on the new and reinstall the shifter and boots.
@@Poweraddicts thanks!!
You went through some deer and turkey country
Hmm I need some more deer in the freezer 🤔. I'm getting low 😁.
Looks like a fun day!
It sure was!!
😎
Was the frame on jeep ok
I've got a slight crease in my skid plate, but still doing just fine. Thanks for checking out the video!!
Great only if jersey had rugged terrain like that we got the mud
Chuck that’s all I’m running on my yj is 31
With good driving technique you can lots of places with just 31's. Thanks for checking out the video!!
@@Poweraddicts always brother
You have a special talent, to be able to rebuild these Jeeps. Great job
Gotta keep the cool YJ's alive!! Thanks for checking out the video, glad you enjoyed it!!
In the comments, y'all leave what you would like to see in wheeling vids. I was on the fence about liking or not liking the "picture-in-picture" shots. Tell me what you think.
